At what weight did hanging start to show results for you

im starting hanging after 7 months of compulsive jelq that led me to a thrombosed vein , i want to know if i should weight near glans or base , the first night i hang i woke up the next day with soreness , but not the second way , whats happening , any tip is welcomed.

You want to hang about 1/4 inch away from the glans. Near the base gathers the skin and stretches it.


Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

I bought a silicon sleeve because i was hanging without it , should i take it off for breaks or the silicon its not tight enough to cut blood flow

My routine is aggressive and daily. It depends on what you want.

Wow. What size were you went you first started hanging?

I wear a very small weight in conjunction with pumping, 6oz. In about 1 month, there was a very noticeable gain of 1/4”.

I’m gonna eventually increase it to 8oz. But for now I wanna see how long I can ride this train.

My wife notices the difference, hitting her back end more. By the look and sound of her, I’d say she’s not kidding.

I am currently doing my first hanging day ever with the Bib Starter and I am still confused on this. For the amount of people who hang there aren’t many video tutorials.

Lie on your back at the edge of a bed and elevate your feet (shelf, ironing board).

I started light weight 1.5 lbs and gradually increased the sets,the goal being to condition the cock to hanging stresses.

This conditioning with light weight and more sets continued for 6 months with adding little more weight but concentrating on more sets to condition the cock gradually and not be tempted to go more weight in a mistaken attitude for faster gains.

Hanging lots of sets at light weight in the beginning really beats up the cock but the light weight ensures that the ligs don’t tighten and become too strong to resisist further stretching.

By 8 months I was hanging less sets but more weight, approximately 15 lbs.

Now after 13 months of hanging I’m hanging 26.5lbs in fewer sets at 10 to 15 min per set.
I don’t hang to a strict must do xyz number of sets but once I am on a certain weight I don’t go less again and hang as much time as my cock can take with enough stress that I know is comfortable and not too much.

I’m still hanging exclusively SD and BTC and I anticipate that I will go other angles at approximately 18 months.

The reason is I’m still gaining length and I can feel the ligs are not maxed out yet.

The other big thing is I haven’t stopped PE since starting 16 months ago. Consistency and never give up.

It works for me and I hope it can assist other Hangers too.

Just don’t stop or give up.

12.5lbs is the sweet spot for me. I’ve gained about .4” BPFSL in 1.5 months. I’m a hanging newbie and it was probably foolish of me to start at higher weights but I started at 10 lbs but didn’t feel enough stretch/fatigue so went to 12.5. I got a little to brave and jump to 15 but it was getting uncomfortable and just last week got a blister so now I’m back to 12.5.


Current: BPEL - 9.75, MSEG - 6.3

I’ve never really posted on here but I’ve been here for quite some time (I’m busy as hell, not shy). Either way, I want to start connecting more because this forum has been such a great asset in my life.

I started hanging a few months ago and I’m actually hanging 20lbs for 20 minutes at a time, usually only once per day.. At most, twice.

I don’t use any special wrap, just a paper towel folded a few times to keep the hanger from digging into my skin.

I’ve noticed some gains (enough to keep me going) but I’m actually seeking some advice..

After reading everyone’s helpful replies, I know I need to add much more time to my hanging routines (at least 3 sets) but was wondering if it’d make sense to lower the weights and increase the time, or do you guys think I’ve probably strengthened my unit too much to where that wouldn’t be effective?

I started at 5lbs and just increased pretty quickly because I felt I was able to. I’ve been conditioning for a long time (several years) and don’t feel like I’m a complete newbie, but I also don’t want to limit myself trying to do what I *think* is best (I’d rather learn from those who have more experience).

I see people getting some pretty awesome results hanging with less weight than I am using, but with more time.
