For the most part no, definitely a grower…My penis tends to retract alot, especially when cold. BUT, when i hot wrap or step out of the shower, I have my best nice long flaccids, especially since hanging. I can already tell my flaccids are a little longer, but they still retract…Hoping to become a shower/grower or just a shower.

OK, the cramps are out of my fingers now. This is pretty good stuff. You need to start other threads on subjects with your unique slant. Maybe it can help others. One at a time though.

Yes, I was originally one inch flaccid and would grow to almost six inches erect. That shows the difference between the elastin fibers and collagen fibers. The elastin stretch tremendously, and the collagen fibers are almost a brick wall. The true gains come with stretching or growing the tough collagen fibers.

Well, this is in the eye of the beholder. I think 5-7 inches flaccid is ‘showing’, and when erect, extending to 10.5 is certaintly ‘growing’.

It seems races that stem from hotter climates have much less elastin than those from colder climates. The theory is, bodies of those in colder climates developed to where the penis would contract saving body heat and protecting from the cold.

Well, connective tissue is all over the body. The ligs and tunica are both made up of varying types of collagenous connective tissues. Elastin is simply one type of connective tissue.

Well, I would term someone who goes from two inches flaccid to six erect a grower. Someone who goes from five inches flaccid to six erect would be a shower. I guess maybe if the increase from flaccid to erect was greater than 100%, that would easily be a grower.

From the theory that you stretched the tougher connective tissues to allow the elastin fibers to come into play, making your penis more springy. The assumption was your elastin fibers were either longer, or fewer, or whatever.

Beats me. Except to realize what type of penis you have, which fibers or bundles you are stretching at any one time and what you can expect from it.

Yes.

It absolutely did for me. The penis adapts to the stresses imposed on it. When hanging weights, the vessels are stretched and therfore constricted along their length. The body tries to compensate and still pump blood to the entire penis. The only way to do this is to enlarge the vessels.

Of course, this is physics also. The constriction of the vessels causes an increase in pressure which causes the enlargement.

No, I would expect the difference to remain about the same. IOW, 2.5 inches.

For me, no. My stretched flaccid increased tremendously after I started hanging, with erect gains coming behind. I still have an inch or so greater stretched flaccid than erect.

Bib, yes the shocking feeling was acute. I guess I must have overdone things that week because when I reach fatigue, I tend to grit 5 more minutes with the same weight. No pain, just a good fatigue stretch. I was doing so well that week. Bigger flaccids, harder erections. Infact, I went from 22 lbs to 17.5 lbs after using the hot rice sock method. Fatigue was coming quicker.

Will start again next week, but will not overdo things. Probably will hang 12.5 lbs for 10 mins and just do more sets. Will see what happens.

Let me rephrase the question: Based on the classification of either being a grower or a shower and their obvious “predicted or assumed” fiber type make up that accompanies this, can we use this to predict the type of gains one can expect from hanging?? And for the sake of simplicity please exclude heart, desire, etc. I already have that and read your posts on “how bad you want it,etc.” hehe

For example, an athlete shorter in stature (under 6 feet) will have an easier time excelling at Olympic sprinting, bodybuilding, power lifting, etc. for obvious reasons, and an athlete who is extremely tall, will have an easier time at excelling at sports like basketball, volleyball, etc. Sabe?

What I am getting at is just like my other “angle theory” (yes, I acknowledge it as a theory) I believe there are certain rules or methods one must follow based on their body type for success. A grower’s routine would be different from a shower’s routine, but all grower’s routine would be similar to an extent.

People might wonder why I am always so interested in these things. Its simple, really. I believe any one can gain, like I always say. Its figuring out what works or will work for you. If perhaps all the people who were hanging exclusively between the cheeks with little or no progress would have simply switched angles, than they could have probably saved themselves time, agony, and sanity. And probably got some decent gains in the process.

Success is a science. It is not complicated, but rather it takes time to uncomplicate it and make it simple again. I know of a strength coach who says if you are not going to get either stronger or increase your muscle size every workout, then you shouldn’t even bother going back to the gym. He guarantees progress every workout. I agree, and look at hanging the same way. The fact is this is such a new field, so cutting edge, with little data or background to go off of. So we must create it, we are all pioneers in this thing. A little off topic, but you get the idea….

I hope in doing so, we can come up with some guidelines for people, to save them time, and sanity.

I believe the reason you were successful, is because based on your dick’s parameters you did the exact program what would work for you, whether you knew this would work or made changes accordingly beforehand or not. I know this seems like a simple statement, but it is. We are not talking about walking on water here. If you’re not gaing month after month, you are doing something wrong. Look at it like this, if you didn’t gain last month, with the same routine, why do you think you will gain this month? If you want a different result, you must change the stimulus.

In short, I’m saying before one even thinks about under going a hanging regimen or workout, one should analyze and assess the mechanics of their dick, instead of just firing away at will. When you are doing it right, it will come…faster than you think. One should figure out what will work for them, and anything extraneous to that, is simply that: extraneous.

I don’t really think the grower or shower designation makes any difference as far as gains, or what type of routine would be best. The elastin fibers are what determine this, and I don’t see them as a limiting factor. Not only do they stretch on a single event basis, but I think they are easily stretched over the long term. I believe they retain their elastic qualities because of the ability of the human body to heal. That is why they still retract after a long hanging regimen, even though in a much longer state.

Ex. You can stretch and stretch a rubber band, and soon, the static length of the band is much longer. However, it will still stretch more when a force is applied. The elastin fibers in the body are different, in that they can heal to allow retention of their full elastic effect.

Yes, I made many many changes. That is why I said you have to master the art of adaptation to be extremely successful.

Hey, no fair. My mind is scrambled about this stuff. I am the one that needs direction. If I could simply start out writing and come up with the topics, I would have already done it.
