I’ve been hanging for about 4 weeks, but I started out very light, I’m at 12.5 lbs and plan on sticking here for a while, the weight finally feels good. I haven’t tried the hardcore hanger on yet, but it looks like it would work at least as well as the bib starter. The difference is a layer of gel like padding that is put in the bib and bib starter.
When I first started hanging, I was an idiot, I didn’t use the theraband (I thought it was just for the hardcore bib) and noticed the hanger would slide a little bit and was generally rough on the skin. Just make sure you wrap up with the theraband, maybe bib has better directions on how to use it, I’m a bonehead and didn’t think I need to go over there, but I think I will now, to learn how to BTC (I’ve been gong straight down, or SD). Wrapping with theraband there is virtually no slippage. I’m not sure if people use anything under the theraband, but after every set, it is like pulling tape off of your dick unless you unwrap it slowly, be advised about that.
Like I siad, I’d get the bib starter first, Bib is the king of hanging, he advises for newbie hangers not to use the hardcore, I just take his word for it. The regular bib seems enormous to the bib starter and IMO, not really necessary unless you have achieved serious gains or already hung very well.
