You need the clamp bro without it you can’t hang a hose clamp should work but the cable clamp is easy to get off. The clamp needs to be tight enough to keep from sliding. You will always have some sliding but not much. I use theraband to wrap it works well.

GOI… it’s the wrap, it’s the wrap! I had the same problem… it’s the wrap and a clamp… get a clamp!

Hey grx what kind of wrap should I use, one that sticks to the wench?

gameofinches, the standerd 15”x1.5” strip of cloth from a T-Shirt and 15”x1.5” strip of silver Theraband works perfect for me with a regular Wench and a Wenchette hanger. I used to only use the Theraband without the cloth underwrap and that would cause a bit more pinching (which of course could be due to wrap tightness) but the cloth combined with the theraband on top really feels comfortable and doesn’t pinch my skin as much, everything feels nice and snug when I attach the hanger. Not really any hanger slippage either as long as I clamp down correctly with the cable cuff.

Where can I get silver theraband? From monty? Or from the store?

Monty has Theraband; so does Bib. Or just try searching for it online.

General comment GOI: Hanging is not for the faint hearted. You appear to be uninformed about a lot of critical information that is readily available on this site. Please read through the hangers forum before you starting hanging. Find out everything there is to know about wrapping, hanger placement, and routines.

Hanging is hard work. It only becomes automatic after many hours of trial and error. And, even then, only for a while. Do your homework.

I wrap with about 10” of ace bandage and then wrap about 10” of ace “self-adhesive” bandage on top of that. I’ve been thinking about trying some of that non-skid drawer liner that they make for tool boxes. It keeps my tools from sliding around in there so I’m thinking that will work pretty well on my “tool” in the wench.

Please spend a lot of time reading about hanging. You don’t want to rip anything or pull your penis off. Spend a few hours reading the info in the hanging forums. There is a lot of good information there regarding wrapping and hanging technique.

Thanks guys, and ya I have read every single hanging thread almost, I know where to place it, I kknow some good techniques, I got to get back and try some new wraps.

Keep it up gameofinches! Be happy when you finnaly achieve the impossible (that most people even if they won’t admit it would kill for; knowing how special the knowledge you have is in the world today) once you reach your goals through hanging. I’m trying to be positve here. It helps sometimes. :)

To answer your question, straight up, you need the clamp. Just buy a clamp and everything will work fine.
