FoxMarrine,

Thank you for your thoughts on wrapping. I am very famliar with this thread you suggested. My “protocol” is designed for those those like myself who may be more injury prone- all of the paramates are important. The double interface two inch width thereband /ace wrap has worked very well for me in conjunction with the heat lamp, etc. I have been using the new BIB Hardcore model. I have so far achieved a hanging max weight of 20 lbs, comfortably since August last year 2006, injury free. This is a personal preference.

Gained 1/4" since last post to 8.25".

Progress report: the methodology has worked beautifully, no injuries, just growth. I have added SO fulcrums. The fulcrum diameter is 2” of theraband wrapped around 1/2” wood moulding, somewhat mimicking the rice sock but the shear forces are more dispersed/eliminated making this a safer procedure (at least for me) . This configuration for me feels more optimal and produces an amazing stretch. There are three basic positions, left side fulcrum, ventral fulcrum, and right side fulcrum. I am pleased to indicate a gain of approximately 1/4” inch BPE since last post to 8.25”. Interestingly, I have had a pattern of much of the night erections/semi erections as a “side effect” of the BIB.

I hope that this is of some help and inspiration to others.

current BPE 8.25”
Goal 10”X 7” (but open ended)

I have been a Bib Starter user for years. It is a big reason for my gains to date of approximately 2.75” EL.

I have found that Bib’s rice sock device works extremely well because it cradles the sides of the shaft and puts the pressure on the doral area which seems to be the toughest. I used to have a problem with twisting until I began wrapping with the Theraband first followed by the ace bandage. Now, twisting is pretty much non-existent. However, it is very important to always retighten the wing nut after the hanger comes under load. I am hanging 25-27.5 lbs. btc and 17.5 using the rice sock fulcrum. I have remained fairly stable at 7.75 to 8” nbpel.

jelktoid,

I concur with the importance of tightening the wing nut as weights are added and underscore this. Not remembering to do so will cause slippage and pinching of the foreskin, resulting in petechial skin action (redness) and soreness. I have been using the “hard core” BIB for about 4 months, it grips extremely well and allows a comfortable progression in weight . I have achieved comfortably at current max. weight of 21.25 lbs.

You have made very nice gains!

Thanks Merlin. But I should also point out that I’ve been hanging regularly for 5 years. That’s a long time. Sometimes I marvel that the damned thing hasn’t fallen off after all the torture that I’ve put it through!
