NotEnough, voodoochildtx,
Holy shit, lets see if I can get through this. If I miss something, please ask again.
>mustard analogy<
Yes, that would be roughly the same physics. Perhaps better would be a new rope. The loops in the rope would be like the elastin fibers being stretched out under a stress. Then, as more tension is applied, the rope is stretched. Weak bonds or fibers in the rope break or give way. Stronger bonds or fibers take hold. More tension is applied. Some progressively stronger bonds or fibers break. On and on until only the very strongest fibers remain, holding the entire load. What is the result? The rope is much longer. Unless of course, too much tension is applied, the rope breaks (mass fiber failure), and you end up with two short ropes. lol.
The difference between a rope and penis is, the penis has the inate ability to repair the broken bonds. The consequence of the repair is a stronger penis. As these bonds are repaired, more and more fibers are holding against the stresses in harmony. Therefore, it takes a progressively greater amount of stress to break the next strongest bonds. I think I put an example in the “healing and an apology thread about the amounts of weights and the load capacity of each fiber.
>In that same thought, the individual connective tissue strands would be slowly stretching and some breaking and as that happens the other tissues would bear slightly more load and stretch further and eventually fail one by one (or maybe a few at a time) according to the load vs. the strength of the tissue bearing the load vs. time under load. <
Well said.
>I see what you mean about the wrapping and its swelling effect only on the uncovered area. You mentioned that the girth gains from hanging were on the first third of your length and that doing Uli’s created girth gains on the rest. You also said that you have both more mass and it swells more than pre-PE. Is the 2nd third the same general structure of tissue or does it grow and shrink more than the 1st third? <
The flaccid length and girth ‘appears’ to be the same. However, when I palpate the shaft, the base is noticeably more substantial. IOW, it feels more dense, or heavier. Toward the head, it seems lighter. When erect, I can tell no difference in the areas. The blood and resulting pressure from the blood eliminate the difference. Good question. Never been asked that before.
>BTW, I bought 10#, 5# and 2.5# weight plates. I didn’t see any 1 pound weights. Is a 2.5# jump TOO much at a time?<
Only you can answer that question. Just try it and see. Be ready to take off the added weight if it does not feel right.
>How do you suggest attaching the plates to the hanger? I realize there is a strap attached to the hanger but I doubt you suggest using it alone? Or, maybe you do?<
I always used a piece of rope or wire looped through the hole in the plate and tied. If you use rope it will fray over time.

>Bib, just to clarify in my mind…when people say you hung 9 hrs per day is that total time (including rest) or is it actual hang time<
I hung from 7:30 am till 4:30 pm five days per week. 20 minutes on and 10 off. Now understand, while I was fairly consistant, some days I might start at 7:00 or 8:00. Might end at 3:00. Some sets were 15 minutes and some 25 (one 45). Also, usually in the middle of the day, I would lightly milk for a good while; also, at the end of the day. Sometimes I had business I had to take care of and did not hang.
Many days I would hang at least a couple of sets at night while watching TV when everyone had gone to bed. I did it in an easy chair with the weight through the hole between the seat and footrest. BTW, You can just put a book on the seat for the hanger to rest on. Then, I would have a quilt or comforter over my lower half.
I kept up with start times on a post-it at my desk. Usually, I would have between 11 and 15 sets at the end of the day. I really don’t have an idea of the average.
>With rest time that would be 18 sets per day 5 days a week or 90 sets per week. Even at 1/2 of that it would take 45 sets per week or 180 sets to gain 1/4 inch (provided you are hanging properly and not just going through the motions). Is my logic reasonable or am I missing something? <
Nope, you are correct. Others have reported much better gain per hour worked than what I experienced. That is one reason I say I overdid the work. However, since I was working at my desk while PEing, it was no big loss of time for me.
Of course, others have had less gain per hour worked. It is good that you realize it is not just the time, but also the quality of the work. I would say the best measure is the amount of time while hanging in a fatigued state.
>Also a question if you don’t mind. What kind of flaccid gains did you see in length? Were they in line with your erect gains or did they come before erect gains? <
Of course, flaccid lengths and gains is a tough thing to quantify. But since my flaccid length prePE was almost nonexistant (usually around one inch or so), anything was a plus. Now, I am between five and seven inches. Usually about six I guess. As I write this, I am seven. I would say I still get about the same increase with an erection that I did prePE. I have a lot of elastin fiber and it still functions very well after PE.
I did not keep up with normal flaccid lengths while PEing. Only stretched flaccid lengths. My SFL shot up after starting. As I PEed, it would usually be between 1.5 and 2 inches longer than my erect length. As my erect length grew, so did the SFL. Now, it is about .75 inches longer than my erect length.
