Last Monday I started hanging SO using a bungee cord. Before that I had been hanging BTC and OTS (with a wrap on my nuts) for about 3 weeks in an attempt to really stetch my skin out. After what I felt was a sufficient amount of skin stretching, I then started hanging SO since I felt that position hitting my ligs and tunica more and skin less.

I hang 4 sets of 20 minutes in the morning, wear my rings, then do 4 more sets in the evening before bed. While hanging, I feel a little skin stretch but not much. The next day my skin is usually sore also. My problem is that I don’t feel any lig pull. Or if I am feeling the lig pull, I don’t know what it feels like. Perhaps someone could explain to me exactly what it feels like. I guess it also means I have a little more skin stretching to do before I get that lig fatigue.

Also, at first my head doesn’t go numb for the whole 20 minutes, but about 3rd set of the morning session my head will go numb in about 17 minutes. Next set 15 minutes, then I stop for about 30 minutes and put on my rings.

Is the numbness in my head an indicator that there is too much pull (too much weight) and that I should lower the weight? I have no idea on this one since my wrap is exactly the same on these last 2 as it was on the first. Just don’t know.

In SO I am not hitting my ligs. It could depend on ligtightness if you will hit your ligs in that position or not. In this position your skin takes less of the pull which put more tension on your tunica. If your hanger is not attached tight enough you will also feel more tension on your glans. Your glans can only handle so much of this abuse after which it turns numb. You have to try to avoid getting numb again. Getting numb frequently is bad.

Lig fatigue feels kind of like muscleburning. I only feel it when I’m using lower angles. I don’t have any similar feelings when hanging SO, unless I touch my shaft.

Hmm……I’m pretty sure that the hanger is tight enough on my shaft. Perhaps it’s time for me to get a new cable clamp? It could be my wrap technique as well. I was using a 1.5 X 18 inch strip before and didn’t have problems with my glans getting numb. Recently I started using a 1 X 18 inch strip, I will try going to the old strip and see if that makes a difference.

My ligs might be pretty tight but also my SO angle is more of a 70 degree downward angle rather than a 90 degree angle, so I suppose it will involve a little bit of the ligaments. You think that is ok? Or would it be wiser to focus primarily on the tunica or primarily on ligs?

I tried hangingfrom a different angle today, I bent over in my seat that I normally do SO in so that I was using an OTS angle and man did I feel that in my tunica! In fact it isolated my tunica to the point where my skin received none of the trauma, I could even move my skin forward up the shaft with my finger, which is something I couldn’t do while hanging SO.

I think I’m going to stick to this angle for a while and see where it gets me. Even though I will just need to stretch the skin later, I’m itching for some length gains right now.

I’m actually not sure what will happen with the ligaments if they only get a little bit of tension during hanging. If you get a fatigue feeling then at least you are giving them a good workout and if not I don’t think it will hurt your future lig gains.

Hey Ocelot Mchuge,I just tried leaning over in my chair like you did,and WOW! You can really isolate the tunica this way.What a stretch.I’ve tried OTS hanging but it hurts too much.This is great.Thanks for planting the idea!

Cool 8 is enough and Ocelot McHuge, maybe this hanging technique is what I’ve been looking for to target my tunica, although the A-Stretchs and V-Stretchs are working my tunica/shaft like a bitch already so I’ll wait to try this out…

I’m now pretty much sold on the school of thought that attacking each separately is best. Even though my lig gains had slowed to almost nothing, I had held out on doing OTS (tunica targeting) because I had read of numbness and even more intense bruising some members were having. Finally tried it though, and I haven’t had problems so far. However, I’ve only been doing one set 15 minute/day about 5 days a week of OTS, so I don’t know what problems more sets might (or might not) cause. I heat first. I was wrapping in an ace wrap after hanging. However, as of yesterday I ditched the wrap, and added tugging upward for 30 seconds after each time I take a piss. Hoping the tugging will not only replace the wrap, but will also supplement the hanging gains. I’m not saying you can’t gain from SO, I don’t know, but SO just doesn’t seem efficient as the tunica and ligs share the load. Because of the sharing of the stress load, it would seem that just adding more weight when doing SO would be the ticket. However, since the stress load is unequally shared, that is a speculative, and perhaps hazardous, way to go about gaining.

I’ve since changed my angle to about a 110 degree upward angle that is giving my inner penis a real good pull. I handle less weight this way also, which makes me feel a bit safer.

Just in case you aren’t aware, the ligs are considered easier to gain from than the tunica.

That’s what I hear but I tried to concentrate on the ligs with BTC and SD but I was getting tired of stretching the skin and decided I just want to see some length gains again before I go nuts. Once I hit a slow point in my tunica lengthening, I plan on focusing on the ligs. Who knows, I may experience as much growth as I want in my tunica and not have to resort to lig stretching.

Ocelot,thanks for the update.Let me know how the new angle works for you.I think my tunica is iron plated,zinc coated , and banded with Kevlar so I’m looking for a good way to stretch it out.

So far it looks like my BPSFL has increased, but I haven’t measured and won’t until the 19th, which will be one month since I started hanging SO. I’ll keep ya’ll updated.
