Gains WITHOUT lig pops ??

How easy/possible is it to see significant length gains from hanging if you never get lig pops. I am about to start hanging and would like some info.

It is my understanding that lig fatigue is good, and what basically give you length for the most part. But has anyone had lig fatigue and gains withought having lig “pops” ??

Why the concern?

If you hang you will probably get them- they don’t hurt, and after the first one it just becomes another part of the whole hanging experience. The theory is you are breaking through one level to get to the next, which is good. I have had lig pops at 2.5 lbs.- if you are really concerned about them I would consider looking to another type of PE.

I’ve gained alot from hanging and I have never had a lig pop. So it isn’t necessarily a signal of gains, at least not for me

I want to experience one. I feel like i’m missing out on something! But I haven’t been hanging my max weight, so maybe that’s the problem. It would be interesting to know. It seems to me that it would be just hanging your max weight that your ligs can handle…this is definately not scientific, but it would seem that that would account for the pop, the ligs just giving in.Maybe BIB will stop by and give some insight.

I had my first lig pop today, just doing a v stretch. Now I can do it everytime by hand.

I never had a lig pop either! Goingdeep and I are going to have to throw a pity party for ourselves. No wait, we have about 4 inches of gains between us. Oh well, maybe we don’t need lig pops.

Just being facetious. I think that some people get them and others don’t. I may have set the tone for myself by starting PE with a stretching and jelqing program that slowly progressed in intensity. I think I might have conditioned my ligs against popping. Who knows.

I didn't get any for ages...

Then i got one while hanging ots and i have had another two from doing jai stretches.

I have to admit every time it has happened it has scared the shit out of me and i’ve been bracing myself for the searing pain that i’m convinced is about to tear through me.

Thankfully it has never been painful. But it feels like it should be if you know what i mean…..

I never had a lig pop neither although i would like to experience one. I can actually feel my ligs stretching under my pubic bone, in three areas to the left, center, and right. it sometimes feel like its going to pop but it never does. do any of you remember what you felt right before it popped? was it exteme fatigue?

ever since I popped twice yesterday I have been kinda sore all the way up my abdomen, and kinda like in the groin… Anyone else experience this?

does the lig poping actually lead to gains? I just started PE about 3 weeks ago. Although i’ve never hung, I do alot of manual stretches, and i get these lig pops frequently while stretching.

Does this mean im gaining?

well actually im not sure if its really a lig pop. When im stretching, i hear a pop, like cracking your nuckles, but i dont really feal it at all. is this a lig pop?

Yes it sounds like a lig pop. I’ve never had one but this is who its described. Generaly if there is no associated pain there’s no problem and people gain with and without popping. Some people associate the lig pop with the break down of the ligament (in a good way) which allows them to stretch more but I am restating info already well covered in this thread.
