Hanging but not feeling stretch

Why did you choose 17 minutes instead of 20? Also, a rule of thumb to go by for safety purposes is to rest the same amount of time you were hanging, so if you hang 17 minutes, rest 17 minutes before the next one. It’s to give blood time to refresh and circulate.

I’m attaching my hanger before the head of the penis. To be honest it’s not even a hanger, it’s a thin rope that I tie.

I started out expecting that stretch feeling you may get from manual stretches. But as I’ve gotten all the tiny details of hanging figured out, I realize, in hindsight, that almost every “stretch” sensation I had was actually something else going on. Some problem I needed to fix. Whether it was tape wrap not tight enough and slipping, vacuum leaking and vac sleeve pulling on my skin, vac sleeve rolling skin forward up over my tape wrap, glans getting engorged with stale old blood towards the end of a 1hr hang. Stuff like that.

Almost all pain or sensation at all is a sign of something wrong, in my experience. Usually nothing to panic about or stop the hang for, just depends on how bad it is. I’ve only stopped a hang once for pain and that was due to some cracked skin I had from chafing, which became extremely painful due to vac sleeve and tape pulling on it. Not an emergency at all - just too much pain to bear on that one.

What I’ve tried to do is figure out each issue and try out little fixes to solve them. Slight variations of my tape wrap. Better vacuum sealing. Vacuum monitoring and topping-off vac during a hang. Stuff like that. In general a 1-hour hang should be pain-free. Low amounts of pain are no problem at all, but I’d still try to identify and fix whatever that issue was eventually. Pain-free 1-hour hangs are totally doable and routine, so it makes sense to shoot for that always. I use a cheap Chinese borescope I already had for non-PE stuff to look down at my unit dangling between my cheeks (I only hang BTC) and check on things. I also carefully inspect everything as I’m taking the vac chamber and sleeve off, looking for pinched or rolled-over skin, checking my tape, checking everything as I unwrap tape, checking glans color, etc. This is how I identify and fix my various pains to get back to pain-free hanging.

All this to say that I think you shouldn’t be looking to “feel” stretch. I’ve gained 2.5” BPEL in 8-weeks Hanging with FIRe, and I don’t “feel” stretch. You should just be looking to SEE the stretch in your strain log. ((Ending measurement - Beginning measurement)/Beginning measurement) = Strain. Shoot for a strain of 2-4%. And watch your Beginning measurement go up over time. That’s all the info you need to decide when to add weight, when to decon break, etc.

Would definitely get out of that Captain’s Wench and into a TM or LG vac hanger ASAP, just for your continued safety and comfort.

I have a very hard time believing you gained 2.5 inches in 8 weeks. I don’t even think that’s possible.

I know. Which is why I’m waiting to post my log.

I want to have 6-months or a year’s worth of data behind me.

My log is extremely detailed. I set out to create the most detailed log ever posted to TP, and I think I have all the relevant details anyone would ever want to know, along with every single measurement.

I’ve not missed a single day of PE, and I believe my consistency plays a part. There are other theories I’ve come up with to explain my extraordinary results, but I will get into those when I post my log.

I fully realize my results are extremely anomalous and unbelievable, which is why I’ve been taking dated photos with my username written on an index card visible within the photo, next to my dick and ruler. To accomplish this I’ve had to purchase a desk-mount camera arm and use an old GoPro 6 which is voice activated. This allows me to capture these proof photos hands-free. I may purchase a new GoPro 10 to double my photo resolution in an attempt to further satisfy any skeptics.

I’ve been trying to mentally and emotionally prepare myself for all the flaming I’ll get from the cynics and skeptics. And write down all my theories about why it might be happening this way for me. Your reaction is exactly what I suspected. I thought I had read every “good gainer” and “easy gainer” story out there but I wondered if perhaps there may have been someone I missed who had “newbie gains” as extreme as mine. But I may be alone on this one.

All I can tell you is it’s the honest truth, and I am still gaining at a rapid pace (4.22% strain for this morning’s session). I’m a pretty serious guy, with multiple business concerns, and a beautiful family - much better things to do than anonymously bullshit strangers on the internet. You will just have to take my word for it, for the moment.

I will post my log when I’m ready, and when I feel I have some good “after” photos to go along with my earlier photos.

‘goinfor11’ is the first and only account I’ve ever had on TP.

I joined a few months ago, read everything I could for about two weeks. Once enough PE equipment got here for me to get started, I got started.

PE was familiar to me beforehand. I had found a website called “Penis Health” about 20 years ago. It was a pay-site. I bought a lifetime membership and got access to some of the instructional videos showing how to do the different manual stretches. I did those off and on in my early-twenties, gaining maybe an inch, temporarily. But I fell off and got married and didn’t get back into PE until just a few months ago when I joined TP. For me it’s just a visual size issue. I’m a huge guy. 6’5” and very overweight at the moment. So even though I had good above-average size, when I was slimmer, it has never looked big on me. Always looked small to me. Even more so when I’m heavy. So that’s my main motivator. I’ve never been a member of any PE site besides Penis Health (20 years ago) and TP.

I hope you don’t think I’m on here trolling or bullshitting. You and I have spoken directly via PM, you’ve answered questions I had about pumping for length, etc. You should know I’m a genuine person learning PE. I’ve never given you any reason to suspect otherwise.

This kind of reaction is exactly why I’m hesitant to share my results. I only mentioned them here, and updated my signature, to test the waters. Pretty much what I expected.

goinfor11, I for one would be interested to see your log. That is a spectacular result you’ve got in 8 weeks which I can surely dedicate for and be done with it. I understand daily consistency would be a key component, but how many hours do you hang daily?

1hr in the first part of the day, 1hr late in the day before bed.
The craziest part is that I’m still at just 3.5lbs.
In hindsight I can see my gains were excellent the whole way. I didn’t realize anything weird was going on until about the 5th week.
When I increased from 3lbs to 3.5lbs total, I started a wild growth spurt which hasn’t stopped in 3-weeks, often gaining 4mm in pre-hang BPSFL between sessions.
Sometimes even gaining 1mm on a decon day.
4mm, 4mm, 3mm, 4mm, 1mm, 4mm, 2mm….starts to add up.
I started seeing my BPSFL just blowing past my goal I was shooting for before decon break, and then I hit 8" BPEL and took some pictures of it. (8" was a mental milestone for me so I was real happy about this.)
My BPSFL kept going, until just under 10". So I check my BPEL again.
My BPEL went from 8" to 9" in one week during this wild growth spurt at 3.5lb.
Obviously by this time I’m starting to figure out that these are anomalous results, so I started getting serious about taking my BPEL photos and trying to document this as evidence, since many will simply not believe that.

I saw some indicators in my pre-hang and strain measurements over the last two days that may show I’m nearing my plateau at this weight.
Once I see that plateau in my data (pre-measurement not going up anymore) I will take my first 2-week decon break.

Currently it’s:
15min Warmup: 2lb
15min Heat 1: 2.5lb
15min Heat 2: 3lb
15min Cooldown: 3.5lb

All hanging is BTC (using my hanging bed I made The Mercedes Benz of BTC Hanging).
Twice a day.
Started doing 5-on/2-off, but switched to 2-on/1-off because I noticed something always happens during the 5-days on. Glans pain from tape, tunica fatigue/strain, stuff like that. 2-on/1-off always puts a rest day right there where you need it, and from my experience it’s way superior. I’ve found it’s basically impossible to injure my penis with just 2-days on. And always a rest day to get rid of any little pains from tape-pulling and whatever.

I really appreciate your comment. I will absolutely post the log. I am mostly just waiting on more data. I want to see where the newbie gains end. I want to continue losing weight (down 60lbs) and see how that affects things, because my fat pad still looks like it’s 100% to me. I also haven’t even taken my first decon break yet! So I’m kind of interested to see if another growth spurt will start back at lighter weights and working back up to 3.5lb/4lb. I’m also very nervous to see if I actually lose some length during 2-week decon. Hope not.

Mostly, I’m just put off by the thought of all the haters that are going to flame me mercilessly. But I’ll do it anyway. My feeling is that Thunder has given me a lot. All the info I learned from (Bib, Kyrpa, 5.5Squared especially). Not hidden behind a pay-wall, just right here for me to read. And now these unreal gains. So I feel I owe Thunder my data. Which is why I will post it despite my trepidation.

Thank you for sharing the details of your routine! At this rate you may as well set your sight at a foot long marvel. Once I mastered my tape wrapping on the glans, I have started vac hanging SO over a week now with just a regular heat pad and really like what I’ve seen. Perhaps I should switch to BTC like you do. It’s a very different experience when I did compression hanging that when I hit 10#, my glans gets purple quickly into a session. This vac hanging I feel no stretch, though I know it’s being stretched gently, and by the end of a 1hr 20 min session, my member gets a really good work out in comfort. I can feel fatigue by the 2nd set when ending at 5# during cooldown. I begin a session at 2.5#. In addition to vac ADS after hanging, I’m now more of a shower. While mine may or may not grow at the rate as yours, it’s good to see other’s experiences, data, variations to a method to optimize my own routine. I read about AM recently and may add it on too.
