Bib. I am “IamCanuck” from the old EZBoard.

Background… I was having swelling while hanging and you gave some sound reasons for which I have made many adaptions with much success. Most of the problems were the result of adjusting the BH properly. I still get a little swelling but is gone by the AM.

My new routine is to go a little to the extreem side of things. I use a heating pad for about 15 - 20 munites heating the whole crotch area while I do my upper body workout. I then hang for exactly 20 minutes with 16 lbs and remove the hanger and wrap it (the BH) in the heating pad for 10 - 15 minutes which warms it up real good. I leave my wraping on and let it rest for this period. After this first set I start to feel the ligs pull a little.

Then I put the warmed BH on and do another 20 minute set and this time I get a real good stretch as there is a fair bit of discomfort in the lig area on both sides and in the pubic area. I also noticed that my penis still stays pinkish and not a bluish colour that it did before the warm BH.

After another 10 - 15 min warmup of the BH I hang again but this time only until the discomfort is too much. This last time I could only go for 15 minutes. I would then jelk and get a little flacid size back up.

All three sets I split 10 minutes standing up and 10 minutes sitting on a chair in order to change the angles a little. I have gotten my first gaines in 6 months at 1/8 inch and that was in December.

It sounds like you have it going good. I never warmed my hangers but it seems to make good sense. You can also put the BH in the oven at <150 degrees and really get it warm. Maybe too warm. Most ovens do not go below 150 though.

I always tried to hit one angle only until totally fatigued and then change to another angle. But if the above works for you, go with that.

Wow, that’s a hell of a plateau. You need to push it while getting gains. Congratulations on the breakthrough.

No I think I will just leave it in the heating pad. I feel that the temp it gets to is about 110F. Don’t want to burn the old pipe you know.

My question is ( and I read everything in your FAQ’s) how long does it take for the body to repair a liesion tear? If I’m doing 1 hour of hanging each night in 20 minute sets, should I do another 20 set in the AM to keep the tears stressed, or would just manual stretches work?

I’m still heating the BH and will post my results at the end of January.

If you have the time in the am, then do another set. Not for breaking loose adhesions, but for the gains.

As far as breaking loose adhesions, I don’t think it is a really big deal. If you were to take an extended break, you should manually stretch often, so that it did not become a problem. But frankly, if you hang everyday, anything that tried to form between work would be broken loose quickly.

The amount of time that it takes to repair is generally irrelevant . Go by the amount of soreness. If it is very sore, take a break. If you have the good general fatigue, try to continue at a lower weight if needed. The body can repair the old breaks as new breaks are made.

I will stay with just the PM hangs until the end of January and see how things go. If the gains are there then I will not change my routine, if not then I may add the AM hang as well.

Got my gains in January

Measured last night and I got a 1/8 inch gain in length and a touch in girth. I have not hung for the last 4 days to give my unit a rest and to let everything stablize.
