I am hanging 20 pounds for 20 minutes twice a day. Every morning when I put on the weight my ligs are sore as hell for about the first 5 minutes. I was wondering if any of the hanging vets can tell me if this is a good sign of gains to come?

Soreness doesnt always mean gains, many people get to high levels of fatigue without gaining, but i have never personally heard of anyone gaining without getting the soreness. Although I guess it could happen. What you want is to get such soreness that you have to take a few pounds off to comfortably hang, you can do this by either doing more sets or using more weight.

So you’re on the right track, but I would hang a few more sets if possible to reach the level of soreness you need more quickly.
