Hahaha…I love PE…I remember a couple years back, when I first started, I read about some people hanging weights from thier dicks and thought to myself “WTF??? I love my dick too much for that. I think I’ll just stick with manual pulling”. lol. How wrong I was.

Anyway, just hung 2.5 lbs with the Wench. Made me realize that when I had been manually pulling, I had to have been pulling with at least 10-15lbs of force because 2.5 lbs felt like nothing on my unit. But as I read in someone else’s post, I’m not gonna up the weight for a week because even though 2.5 lbs feels like nothing, the weight is exerting 2.5lbs of force on my unit OVER 20 MINUTES. Much mroe than my hand could ever do.

I didn’t use Theraband as a wrap, nor did I use toilet paper. lol. I got this stuff from my local Meijer called “Self-Grip, Self-Adhering Atheletic Tape/Bandage”. Anyone know of any problems with this from the past and can alert me early? I used it and it gave me no problems. Stuck to itself and all. Only problem I had was that I felt my head and it was starting to get cold after 12 minutes, so I decided to take the Wench of at the 15 min. mark instead of taking the risk of going for 20. Couldn’t check for discoloration because you can’t see discoloration on black units.

Overall, hanging is cool as hell. I could study, AND PE at the same time instead of having to take off time from studying to do manual stretches. That sucked. I only did 1 set but will work myself up to 3 sets after I buy this HeatWave™ pad that I will now post about in general.

p.s. In between sets, should one take off the wrap to warm up the area before the next set? Or is it ok to warm it up with the wrap on?

Hi Alrdybig, I’m glad to hear your first hanging experience went well.

Definitely a good thought to not add too much weight too soon. Increasing by too much of an interval can be dangerous. The recommend progression is to add 1-2 pounds each week or as you can handle it.

I use the Ace self-adhesive bandage as a type of traction device only. I tried it once as wrapping material for hanging, but it was too rough and caused a slight bit of chaffing. I still use a soft cloth underwrap even when I use it as a traction device with no pressure being applied.

Feeling coldness after 15 minutes with only 2.5 lbs on is probably due to not having the hanger attached tight enough. It seems odd ( - counter intuitive as CaptnHook put it), but try clamping down another notch on the cable clamp. The numbness/color loss is caused when the hanger is applying more pressure to the glans than the internal tissues. By cranking down another notch, the grippers will grab on tighter to the internal tissues and your circulation will actually improve. Not to mention this enables the weight to stress the ligs opposed to stretching the base skin.

Stevie, I appreciate this advice because I did not even put on the cable clamp. I thought that at a weight that little, it wasn’t necessary. Plus, I have been having problems putting a medium cable clamp on around my unit with the wench on. So I also left it off just so I wouldnt have to hassle with it. I wrote about this problem here : Just completed my Wench! . I would appreciate it if you gave me advice on it. Maxwell suggested I cut off the extra velcro. What do you think? You have a wench?

Yes, I have built a total of four wenches so far, mainly because the material I bought came with enough excess to make one for hanging, one for manual stretching, one to be used as an ADS, and one I actually keep in my dap kit for when I’m out of town. It’s my traveling wench. :)

First off; what is your flaccid girth? Also, are you entirely limp when applying the wrap and wench?

Personally, I wrap with a real thin soft piece of undershirt (“wife-beater” variety). I stretch my flaccid dick out with one hand and wrap moderately tight with the other hand, two revolutions around. I then apply the wench exactly as Cap describes in the Wench thread and finish up with the end just to the top of the 2” X 1” gripper/velcro rectangle on the right. Next, I put the cable clamp around and click it three times, wait 30 seconds or so for my dick to get entirely flaccid again, then try to eek out one more click to really snug it up.

Last I checked, my flaccid girth was just under 4”. Sometimes if I don’t wrap exactly right, I start to get a semi and have to wait a bit for it to dissipate before continuing. I like to be as limp as possible to maximize the grip on the internal tissues.

If the problem is that your natural flaccid girth is just too large, try using the thinest wrap you can find that will still effectively serve it’s purpose (protecting and providing comfort for you dick). Try the under shirt material if you have some.

If you are applying the wrap and wench entirely flaccid and the rectangular grippers are not parallel to each other on the sides of your dick, then you will need to adjust their position accordingly. Try moving them out 1/8” or 1/4” at a time until you get them lined up directly across from each other. If this turns out to be the case then you probably will have to use the larger cable clamp as well.

One other consideration is the position of the cable clamp when tightening. Since it forms an oval shape once closed, it’s very important to align it properly to fit the dimensions of the wench. I like to start mine with the female end of the clamp on the top right side of the wench (with the jagged edge being fed in from the left.

Proper and efficient wrapping has been one of the biggest obstacles in PE for me. It took me a considerable amount of time to figure it out and get it just right. I found hanging, ADS, traction wrapping and everything else to be a lot easier once I figured wrapping out. Just practice as much as you can and read descriptions of others’ technique here. You might pick up on something that will work for you.

When I first found Thunder’s Place, I didn’t even go into the Hanger’s Forum for a long, long time because like you, I thought that the guys that hang weights off the dicks are plain crazy!

So..I’d have to say that now I’m crazy too, I also find hanging much more suited to multi-tasking. I hang, do work on my PC, answer the phones, etc, all with no problems what so ever.

Its very, very time efficient.

As far as your question with regards the wench goes, I’m afraid I can’t be of much help as my wench works great as per Cappy’s original design and have had virtually no problems at all.

I guess I should have been able to tell by your name here that you had a large flaccid. :) In that case I would definitely recommend adjusting the rectangular grippers until they line up directly opposite (parallel) from each other. I think I remember CaptnHook saying to adjust the right gripper first, by moving it closer to the middle of the wench. The key to success with the wench is getting the grippers lined up just right. Keep adjusting and testing a little at a time and you will ultimately find the best configuration that provides the most strength and comfort. Good luck and have fun hanging. Bib answered that in the last month somewhere on here in the hanger’s forum. If I remember correctly, the base gets bigger only via hanging itself. The rest and the head improve via doing Ulis of some type. You’ll have to track it down in here for the original answer.

No, just at the base. You’ll end up with a bigger dick shaped like a traffic cone.

If hanging increased girth all along the shaft, we wouldn’t do anything else.

Started with 2.5 pounds, don’t feel anything yet, hopefully I will tommorow.

This is definetly better then manual stretching, whoo did that take an effort.

Hopefully I see some good gains.
