I had done almost all my hanging BTC or close to it. Now that my month break is over, I’m focusing on SO, OTL and OTS. Yesterday I did a few sets with kegels and reverse kegels ala DLD’s Blaster routine .

This gave me a hell of a workout - especially OTS. The friction of the strap over my shoulder allows some adjustment of tension by leaning forward and backward to increase/decrease the pull at appropriate times. Ease up a bit during the kegel and increase tension when reverse kegeling.

I don’t know if this workout was so gruelling because these are new angles for me, or if kegels are generally more effective in these positions. I had done kegels/reverse kegels in the past when BTC, and I felt them working the ligs, but not nearly to the degree as OTL and OTS. Oddly, I don’t feel any effect when hanging SO.

From most stressful to least, for me:

1) OTS
2) OTL
3) BTC
4) SO (no extra stress)

Has anyone else tried this? What angles do you feel the most effect?

I think this is a hell of a good thread and I hope that guys will try this stuff out. I surely do not know what the mechanism is. It seems to be more than just the pelvis tilt causing greater stress.

Pardon the mental image, but on the reverse kegal, it almost seems as if you are shitting your penis out. Maybe I should have said birthing.

I have not done much work with this technique, cause I cannot gain anymore, but it does give a hell of an interesting feeling.

I would say OTS gives the most stress, quickly followed by SO. Then, to a lesser degree, OTL and BTC are tied. Also, the angle toward each shoulder is really good and a different feel.

In November I focused on Blasters, but also did some static hanging. A typical session, though it varied, went something like:

10 min. warmup (moist heat)
5-10 min. manual Blasters and some JAI’s
another 3-5 min. moist heat

Then 2-3 sets of:

Hang 10-15 min. w/Blasters the first few minutes
Unwrap and do 5 min. JAI stretches
Rest and heat 5 min.

Usually I did one session a day, though occasionally an abbreviated second session. 3-6 days on, then 1 or 2 off.

I won’t measure “officially” until the 1st, but it looks like I’ll be up at least another 1/16” this month, which for me is good progress. Man, I hope I didn’t just jinx it. ;)

In the last week or so I’ve almost eliminated hanging in favor of manual stretches and added a 3x per week pump/squeeze/bend routine.

Re: erection angle, mine began at maybe 20 to 30 degrees up from horizontal. In a year of PE it has lowered to maybe 10-15 degrees.
