LG Hanger, a new vacuum hanger

An update on my LG Hanger. I have just went over 100 hours and I have gained 1/8th of an inch in BPEL. Not a record setting gain but considering I had not gained in quite a while and exhausted “newbie” gains long ago this is encouraging to me. I have upped it to 9 lbs and will do at least 50 hours at that weight. If I feel I need it i will go up to 10 lbs but my original plan was to increase weight after each 100 hour block of time.

I have experienced no blisters and have worn it for up to 2 hours at a time but usually now go for 1 1/2 hours. I think getting myself properly seated in it every time is the key to no blisters. I will update at my 200 hour marl. I am hoping that I can gain 1/2 of an inch or better at the 1000 hour mark.

I’m around 15-16 lbs, doing 2 sets a day, each set is 1 hour 15 minutes.

I’m getting better fatigue with the LG than I’ve ever gotten with any other PE. I’ve done manual stretches, jelqing, extender, air pumping, Bathmate, Lengthmaster, Grip System, Bib hanger, but this feels totally different. I’m still slowly increasing the weight because it takes me a while to hit fatigue with my current weight, but I don’t want to go up too quickly and not give the glans time to adapt to the stress. I’ve yet to get a blister with this or any PE.

I am hitting fatigue with 9 lbs for an hour and 1/2. I am going in blocks of 100 hours and if I see gains I will stay at that weight for another 100 hours until gains at a weight stop at a 100 hour interval. I got way to wrapped up in increasing weights before and I am no longer basing it on what I feel but what my gains are. I know I may waste some time this way but I am satisfied with my length. I find the LG comfortable enough to where that each 100 hours comes quickly and this also keeps me from moving up unless I know I need to through lack of results.

I am letting the tape tell me when to move up because so far since I started PE I have never had my ruler or tape lie to me. I am watching your progress Baba-Booey, I like seeing a few different guys doing a few different things with something new. Best of luck with your gains.

Thought I’d post my current LG routine.

Set 1:
30 mins over a 1.5” PVC fulcrum (positioned behind the balls)
15 mins standing with weight straight down and swinging front to back
30 mins fulcrum

Set 2:
Same as Set #1

This gives me 14 hours per week over a fulcrum and 3.5 hours per week SD swinging. 17.5 total hanging hours per week.

I’m starting with about 16 lbs 6 oz and reducing the weight by 1 lb whenever I hit fatigue. Yesterday I hit fatigue in the first 30 min fulcrum set, so I’ll keep the weight the same today. When I no longer reach fatigue in the first 30 mins, I’ll increase by an ounce or two. I have fishing weights, which is a great way to slowly increase the weight.

A month ago I wasn’t hitting fatigue at all, so I wasn’t expecting to make any gains. I’ve only recently begun hitting fatigue early, so now I can expect to start gaining, but I’m sure it will be a slow process since I’ve already gained 2+ inches over the years. No idea what rate I’ll gain at, but I’m planning to stick with this routine for at least a few months and see where I am.

1/2 ” for 1000hrs?

So its not even better than extenders on predicted gains??? Why aren’t you extending instead?

Extender gains aren’t infinite. Your body responds to stresses that are placed on it by adapting. This is why you need to increase force and/or time to continue gaining. I gained about an inch from using only an extender, but I wouldn’t be able to gain with it anymore. I have to hang more than 17 lbs to reach fatigue, and extenders usually have a max of around 5 lbs.

Looks similar to the Max-Vac. I’m not crazy about the price. But I made great gains with the Max-Vac and if you wrap your head the right way and take precautions you will never get a blister. I currently have the Grip, I can’t find my old MV 2 anywhere. If only I had waited a few months to get this one instead. I didn’t know the Grip was only designed to handle 8 lbs. I didn’t start making serious gains to I got till 8 lbs or more on the Max-Vac. That might be the reason some haven’t gained with the LG yet. With vacuum hangers, and I assume hangers in general, the first month or so is spent slowly conditioning your penis, getting the wrapping right, and slowly building up time and weight. Thanks for the updates Baba-Booey. With your routine I’m sure its only a matter of time before you see gains.

I’m now around 17.5 lbs, and doing the same routine, except I put the pipe fulcrum in the normal spot instead of behind the balls. I changed because air can leak in while I was getting into position when I had the pipe behind my balls, but not if the pipe is in the regular fulcrum spot.

I’ve started keeping track of my time because I want to do 500 hours (should take 200 days), and then measure. If I don’t gain after that much time I’ll need to make changes.

Okay keep us updated. There seems to be alot of skeptical and cynical people on these forums that dismiss possible avenues of growth way too easily. I’ve seen it all over these forums and others, but especially this one for some reason. I come here rarely these days and thats the cultural perception I get when I do. A tried and true method is great but everyone is different and responds to different stimuli differently and that mentality of having all the answers already and being closed minded before exploring the possibilities will only lead to stagnation.

Vacuum hanging worked for me pure and simple. Even when I was bumbling through everything within the first couple of months. I eventually made twice the gains in half the time I did with intense and consistent manuals. I wish I could have gotten the homemade ones to work but without the ability to add extra suction with a hand pump its impossible to hit the weights and time I needed to grow. The price is very steep on this, but they don’t have any competition at the moment. Monkeybar is not producing, Max-Vac is out of business and I think even TheGrip is under too, I can’t find or access their site anymore. They have the market cornered right now and so they can charge outrageous prices, its the way things are.

Has anyone used the LG Hanger with Monkeybar’s fluid cone in addition to the tape? Would it help with preventing blisters or simply be overkill since taping does a good job?

I’ve only wrapped with Co-Flex and it works, so I wouldn’t try any other methods. I pump up to 16 hg and hang a little over 19.5 lbs, and I’ve never had a blister.

I’m using a Bib Hardcore right now, but the LG is a great vacuum hanger. Comparing a Bib with the LG, each one has its advantages.

I like the Bib for BTC because you can reach down and feel if the hanger is straight. It’s also easier the swing the weight in the BTC position with a Bib. The Bib is also better for straight out fulcrum hanging because you can get the back of the hanger to push into the front of the fulcrum and get a dual fulcrum.

The LG is a better use of time, even though it takes longer to put on, because the sets can be much longer. It’s also very comfortable, but up to a certain point. For me, the tip of the glans started to hurt as I got into higher weights. This was partly because the skin on my glans was so dry, a side effect of vacuum hanging. I was hanging 2 sets a day, each one 1 hour 30 minutes, with 2/3 of the time SD over a fulcrum and 1/3 SD while standing. I realize that I could’ve done shorter sets with the LG and made it more comfortable.

Thank you Baba-Booey I fully understand what you mean now. Good luck in your hanging career.
