I have just read the original bib hanger guide which includes “cut 3 inches of tubing” what kind of tubing should I be using? whats the best from your opinions?

Any opinions, from those who’ve built these?

It’s been awhile since I read that stuff, but I could swear it was PVC.

Spice and Herb canisters made of clear thin type plastic or more opaque harder thicker plastic like the ones you buy at grocery stores are really nice to use for a origional BIB type hanger. I’ve actually used a couple of these canisters before to expierment with a origional BIB hanger and have made some nice little origional BIB hangers out of them with a few modifications that give me a special type of stretch that I haven’t really felt anywhere else other then maybe my modified AFB hanger I made. The stretch while I hang with these hangers feels totally balanced throughtout the whole shaft when I hang OTS with them. There isn’t one part of the shaft taking more of the stress unless I shift my body into a certain special positon. The hanger distrobutes the tension/stress evenly across the whol shaft which I therorize could possibly speed up gains if done correctly since all fibers are being hit nicely. So who knows maybe try it out. :)

Thanks for that option, never thought of them, however I’ve only seen them in glass in the UK? Looks like some plastic conduit, I heard somewhere that bike tire inner tube is good also? Thanks for the response.

It’s clear (or with reinforcing braids inside) tubing. Same thing you’d use to hook up an aquarium pump, but bigger.

Where to buy tubing for homemade Bib

You might try a pool supply place if local hardware stores don’t carry it.
