Is there anybody out there that hangs like 125% your max weight(if that makes sense) for really short sessions. I’ve been hanging with about 10 or 12 pounds recently, mainly because it’s all I can hang without getting some pain or coldness or both. I haven’t been having this “fatigue” feeling that everyone else is having so I’m figuring I’m not gaining as much as I should or could be. So right now I’m trying out hanging for sets of 5 min. with 25 lbs.

Bib or anybody else, do you ever hang 100% weight for a first set and then go back lighter, thinking the penis will be stretched to more than maximum and then held there at lighter weight?

I would imagine a lot of guys have done this. If you get coldness and/or pain within 10 minutes at 12 lbs., then 25 lbs. is certainly not going to do you any favors. I have a couple of questions for you. What exactly are you feeling? what kind of pain are you having? How many minutes a day are you putting into this? I would be more interested in getting the pain/coldness issue worked out, time will bring fatigue. Be very careful “weight lifting”.

I always try to hit my maximum weight first - or as soon as possible and then move down as needed. But that’s not always possible depending upon what condition I’m in at the moment.

One thing that I think gets too little attention is the idea of stretching at all angles for a few minutes before hanging. With my hanger on and my rice sock applied, I use my five minute warm up as an opportunity to manual stretch at all angles - 4-5 second JAI stretches for the most part.
I think this is akin to what you are thinking Max, stressing things out before genuinely beginning your sets. It is also much safer than hanging anything over your maximum weight.
It was when I started to consistently do this that I found myself better able to tolerate my max weight on the first set, and fatigue was much faster in coming. An ideal combination of results.

Well, really, when I start to feel some uncomfortableness is when I’ve been hanging for maybe 15 min or so. My dick seems to turn in the wench and get cut off from blood supply a little by then sometimes and starts to get a little cold.

What I’ve been doing is just putting on the hanger, tightening it like there’s no tomorrow, then throwing on 22 1/2 to 25 lbs. and doing sets of 5 min. Honestly, within 5 minutes, even with 25 lbs. hanging, I don’t get near the uncomfortable coldness or whatever as I do with 10lbs. for 20 min.

I think this method is really going to have some potential to skyrocket my gains. 25 lbs. is about 150% of the weight I’d be hanging for 20 min. so there’s definetly something going to be happening. I’m getting gains at 10-15 lbs. just not as fast as I would like. I’m not getting as thorough a “fatigued” feeling as I think I should be which may be slowing down my gains. I also think it has something to do with the hanger setup I’m using. I can’t hang as much weight as I need to for long periods because it’s uncomfortable using the wench for me to move up in weight hanging for prolonged periods of time.

If anybody has experimented with something like this, let me know please. Also, do you think I might injure myself somehow? Is this dangerous?

What do you mean when you say “turn” - as in twisting? I’ve never heard of twisting within the Wench, if that’s what you mean. Interesting.

Max,what motivated me to start manual stretching before my sets is this very approach you are describing. At a time when my maximum weight was around 10lbs I thought I might jump start fatigue by over-shooting that weight by about 50% for a short set or two - force fatigue - and then go down in pounds significantly for the remainder of the routine.
I admit that it was difficult but not impossible, and the stressed out feel I wanted came, but my fear of injury coupled with a desire not to permanantly force myself into having to use extreme weight levels stopped me from doing it. I moved on to manually encouraging this effect.

I can’t tell you not to do this because I did and got away with it for a while. I’m sure Bigger or someone with more knowledge can shed better light on the pros and cons of this concept.
What I can tell you is that you are not alone in experiencing discomfort, discoloration, and cold temps at around the 15 minute mark - I still get this and have gotten it on a pretty regular basis no matter the device I use.
Sometimes it can look pretty ugly by the 20 minute mark, but everything has always returned very quickly to normal after the set.

What’s uncomfortable about it? Is it that the wrap irrates the skin? A wrap problem in general? I solved my wrap problem in an unorthodox way, lol. My dad just bought a new power drill and it had some white light foam material surrouding it and immediately I thought, “I could use this for PE”. lol. Everysince then, I’ve been using it and it works beatifully. All that pain I had before was a result of the inner wrap. Even cloth inner wraps are viscious on the skin.
