What do you mean when you say “turn” - as in twisting? I’ve never heard of twisting within the Wench, if that’s what you mean. Interesting.

Max,what motivated me to start manual stretching before my sets is this very approach you are describing. At a time when my maximum weight was around 10lbs I thought I might jump start fatigue by over-shooting that weight by about 50% for a short set or two - force fatigue - and then go down in pounds significantly for the remainder of the routine.
I admit that it was difficult but not impossible, and the stressed out feel I wanted came, but my fear of injury coupled with a desire not to permanantly force myself into having to use extreme weight levels stopped me from doing it. I moved on to manually encouraging this effect.
I can’t tell you not to do this because I did and got away with it for a while. I’m sure Bigger or someone with more knowledge can shed better light on the pros and cons of this concept.
What I can tell you is that you are not alone in experiencing discomfort, discoloration, and cold temps at around the 15 minute mark - I still get this and have gotten it on a pretty regular basis no matter the device I use.
Sometimes it can look pretty ugly by the 20 minute mark, but everything has always returned very quickly to normal after the set.
