New Pasi's Hanger

Pasi-
I love what you’ve done here. I’ve been crazy busy lately, but when I get the chance I hope to construct and try out your excellent hanger. It’s a big leap in the right direction.
As for the naysayers - Don’t waste an ounce of your admirable energy defending yourself to them. Some people, like you Pasi, have vision and and others are blind. Cure their blindness and they’ll complain about the light.

Infant BP Cuff

Pirate Steve

So far I’ve only used the BP Cuff for low-tension traction at the 12:00 position during my 48hr. rest period. I just hang the bulb on the elastic cord around my neck, so I can quickly reduce pressure when I feel the first sign of discomfort, rub the head a bit till circulation comes back then give the bulb a squeeze just enough pressure for a gentle stretch. But you are right; I guess something needs to be done about keeping pressure of the dorsal nerve and vein especially for any heavy hanging. Herd someone suggests those grippers, but so far I haven’t been able to find them at Home Depot, but not really sure what to ask for. Does anyone know what the grippers are originally designed for? I’m sure telling the guy at Home Depot, “For keeping the pressure off the dorsal nerve would go over big. Then again he might just point me toward the PE isle. Us PEers are becoming pretty regular customers at HD.

Thanks
BG

LOL! Perhaps we could spawn a PE vanity credit card! Grippers are originally intended to protect a wood or tile floor from furniture leg scrapes. You will find them next to casters and such at Lowes, I don’t think Home Despot stocks the particular brand. They sell other hard rubber floor protectors you could cut up though, and some of them may work better in your application anyway. But I am thinking more than just grippers will be needed to work a cuff safely for weight, because pressure is still going to be exerted on the top of the shaft. If the cuff could be modified so that at least the top and possibly also the bottom of the cuff (as it sits on a penis) do not inflate I think that could do it. This is the genius of Pasi’s design - no inflation on the top side. I think that the bulb & release on the cuff are exactly what’s missing from Pasi’s fine hanger though. And, I think the cuff would still be worthwhile for an ADS just as you use it.

And Cap, that’s right, support the other designers in the vain hope that something new will come along and you can then slip back into relative obscurity…

Ah, bliss…a man can dream Pirate, a man can dream ;)

Hi guys,

Thank you again for your comments.

About the hanger now, It just came in my mind to put two tubes. The idea it is to trap the blood in the between and to not let the hanger slip down to the head.
First I keep the head pres with one hand and with other I pump the first Air Tube.
After I pump the second tube. In this way the penis will be grasped on two points and the blood will fill the between gap.

Of course this Idea is not new. You can use two hose clamps, But the air tubes make a better grip.

The Velcro strip should be attached to the Air tubes.

The nylon strip should be attach between the air tubes. Or on the second a tube.

I don’t know if I have explained myself right but, maybe the picture attacked will give a better idea.

Girtha-
RE: your PM, I figure it best to ‘publicly’ send you to one of Pirate’s posts in the wench thread - more people might be pursuing this idea than are posting. Check out Steve’s ideas and some of the subsequent posts. They lead the way to some creative thinking about ‘grippers’ and alternatives to the Waxman product I use.
It’s an interesting coincidence that you PM’ed me and I find you and Steve going over this here, because all last night I was thinking about your blood pressure cuff work and Pasi’s hanger. Hobby and others have brought up BP cuffs as hanger/Uli and I can’t help but think there is a zeitgeist happening with this air tension approach.
I believe an answer to the question of how to avoid dorsal pressure and still maintain a considerable amount of lateral pressure when using a commercial BP cuff rests somewhere in using Velcro as an “outer-skin” to the cuff in conjunction with what have come to be popularly referred to now as ‘grippers’ (the term nicely defines any interior rectangular embossment used for lateral grab).
It could be that Pasi is already using the “outer-skin” approach, but I can’t be positive due to a lack of written description, so forgive me Pasi if I’m repeating what you’ve already put forth.
An outer skin made of the same Velcro material I use in the Wench would force all of the air tension inward, greatly increasing whatever PSI a cuff is capable of. This would create an inflatable “cast” as Steve mentioned. Anyone familiar with hanging knows that a SERIOUS amount of lateral pressure is necessary to get an adequate hold of the internal penis. The only question becomes whether the pressure becomes too much on the dorsal region and strangulation of the glans is risked. That brings us back to the question: How to inflate both sides of a BP cuff without affecting the top, or bottom, or both.
There is an obvious answer - I’m sure.

I have to say that I am very attracted to the BP cuff approach because of the bulb used to inflate it. I may be mistaken, but Pasi’s hanger looks as though it requires an air pump to inflate it. And this could prove a severe hindrance to function, convenience, portability, etc. If I’ve learned anything about the appeal of home-brewed hangers it is that these factors and most importantly (and unfortunately) the ease with which the device can be fabricated and used by people is the biggest determinant of the devices appeal. Simplicity is the rule.

Great work Girtha, Pasi - you guys are kicking PE ass!

Here is the alternative grippers post by Pirate:

- PirateSteve - The Captn’s Wench: PE Device

Man, you guys have gotten the eye of the homebrew Guru! What a coup. Kudos to you. Don’t catch the flu. OK, OK. Pasi, In theory, that sounds perfect to me. But will it work as well as the one you already have? Can it be made practically? Perhaps you could pump up the chambers individually, but perhaps you may find they need to be pressured equally. Sounds like more fun experimenting.

And I agree with Cap, the cuff seems like an elegant start, if for no other reason than the pressure bulb and release. Of course, it would quadruple the cost of Pasi’s original design to use one instead of the inner-tube. And the cuff may not be as robust, and therefore not able to handle as much pressure as the inner-tube - and we know we need a LOT of pressure to hang more than 10 pounds or so. Also, does the pressure bulb put out enough pressure for serious hanging? Unknowns as yet. What the cuff is, without mods, is a really comfortable ADS. Can it be more? I suspect (and hope) BG will let us know soon. If not, I am determined to acquire one sometime this week should I be able to steal a car for a day (kind of hard to twist the bike throttle right now).

Cap, my understanding of Pasi’s hanger is just as you describe - essentially an air-pressured Wench. That’s what his pictures show anyway. That’s how I am building it too. Right now it appears he is using one air chamber that wraps around underneath leaving the dorsal area unpressurized. His new thought is to use two chambers, one on each side. I like that even better, but it sure complicates an already difficult construction. Still, I would rather spend time building than wrapping. Wrapping sucks.

You know, I still use my Chickenchoker hanger when I get tired of wrapping or clamping, or messing with stuff (usually once I have hit fatigue and drop back to 10 pounds). It is so simple, so quick, and requires no wrap. Seconds on, seconds off. My hope is that an air hanger could potentially be as easy to use, plus would hold more than the 10 pound choker limit. Hanging Nirvana. Pasi, BG and Cap, you guys are making my dreams come true - I love you guys (yeah, I did just take a few Percocets…)

Any possibilities with something like this?

http://www.nefi tco.com/Aircast … nnis_elbow.html

Not sure if the pad is too big, but it appears that it would fold in a V-shape around the sides and underside with less pressure on the top.

I’m looking along the lines of air casts… I would think there has to be a relatively small one out there somewhere.

First thank again for the support guys I need encouragement to go on this fight of PE

“It could be that Pasi is already using the “outer-skin” approach, but I can’t be positive due to a lack of written description, so forgive me Pasi if I’m repeating what you’ve already put forth”

Yes this is right, 18 cm from 50 cm of Velcro is stick on the outer-skin of the tube.

Wench. That’s what his pictures show anyway.”

Yes this is also right except I don’t use the grippers. I have try with them but it did not work ok for me. Actually the first version of this hanger can be seen here:

/forum/attachme … =&postid=133922

Also Yes I use a pump to pressure the tube, a small one.

When my back will be better I will try to make a two camber tube. Maybe next week.

I had this idea in 1996 when I was thinking about BP cuff and because, I could not find a narrow one I made one from tire tube.

Sorry again for my lack of description, but I don’t find the right words and this Bill Gates spelling software for me a head eke (too many variants of words from which I should chose the right one)

Thanks Girtha, Capt, Pirate, Piet, Stevie and yes even STILL….for the support of this air Hanger.

Let’s make together the best hanger ever….

Pasi

Pasi,

You are an inspiration! Get well soon so we can experiment…
