Noose ADS: Are they really so bad?
I’ve recently decided to bite the bullet and explore the wonderful world of ADS’s. Some of the simplest designs are noose-like, in the sense that they include a loop of flexible material that fits in the “pocket” between the shaft and the glans. They pull from the ventral surface, and force is transmitted around the shaft to the dorsal surface (where all the veins and nerves are).
I know that these types of devices are potentially dangerous when hanging heavy weights, but has anyone had a problem with them in an ADS arrangement. I’m thinking of using a tension of between 2 and 4#.
