I have very limited experience with upper angles. I wonder if that feeling is something that people feel at the higher angles.
When I was telling the OP about checking out the extenders it was more in regards to the low amount of weight he is using. Doing a traditional hanging routine at that weight just sounds like it will be ineffective. Perhaps some initial newbie gains but my guess is that either weight or sets will need to greatly increase.
I could be wrong but anything under 5 pounds sounds like the amount of tension an extender is dealing with. If they are talking in regards of seeing results in the hundreds to thousands of hours then I think he should understand the mindset that they have.
I believe his routine is 2 hours a day at under 5 pounds. Just my opinion but one of the variables is going to have to greatly increase.
