i have been using the bib hanger for 2 wks now. i have gained .5 in. so far, but when i finish a set the skin just behind my head is really puffy kind of like it has fluid in it. is this normal or am i doing something wrong, and is the head supposed to stick out of the hanger or be inside of it?

What you describe is a donut. It usually occurs from a lot of jelqing or pumping, but if you hang a lot of sets, or wrap too tight, you can get one while hanging. It is not a problem unless it gets to be uncomfortable. However, the skin on the upper shaft will stretch to allow for any discomfort over time.

The head is supposed to be out of the hanger.

I have been using a BIB hanger since January. I have the same problem with swelling or puffiness that you are asking about. I am hanging 6.75 lbs straight out in 3 15 min sets morning and afternoon for a total of 6 sets. I think that I may have solved or mostly corrected the problem by changing how I wrap. I had the problem when I wrapped with only thera one half to one inch back as per the directions. I am now wrapping with cloth over the glans and then wrapping with thera one half to one inch back. The cloth that I am using is a nylon felt like material used in camping towels. I have hung for a week this way and I have not had the swelling problem. I am now finally getting a good pull on the ligs without pain except for sore ligs. I now have to keep track of the time to make sure I don’t go over my 15 min set.

Keep trying something will work. I hope this helps.
