Question on Traction Wrapping

I was wondering, how do you get the stretchy thing to hold at the base? Do you just use tape?

Also wouldn’t all night Traction wrapping constrict the noctornal erections?

wrap a bit tighter as you spiral down, and yes, use tape at the bottom.

It’s trial and error for all night wraps. Start very loose and see what happens.

Use Silver Theraband. Nothing else works as well, and it will exapnd with you.

i had the same problem the first night that i did a traction wrap i woke up in the middle of the night about 80% erect so now i just traction wrap during the day so i can keep an eye on how things are going.

I’m interested in doing the traction wrapping after my AM hanging session and doing it as long as possible while at work (in the evenings after my PM session I am not going to do traction wrapping, but give it a break).

Questions: for those with experience w/ traction wrapping, what is a realistic amount of time I could wear this wrapping while at work?

Also, I am thinking of using cotton strips from an old t-shirt as underwrapping. Comment on that if it’s inadvisable, please.

I’ve left a traction wrap on for around 8 hours max however most of the time I usually leave it on between 2-4 hours before it becomes uncomfortable. I’ve also never used an underwrap with it. I’ve wrapped with cotton material alone which isn’t nearly as successful. If you’re going to keep an eye on it then I don’t see that using an underwrap would hurt, however if you’re planning on leaving it on overnight then you might want to reconsider - getting an erection might cause problems if the wrap has less stretch.

What do you mean by uncomfortable? Hot, sore, or what?

Irritating ….. a little sore but more just irritating! The glans can become a little sensitive, especially around the coronal ridge which takes a lot of the stress. Perhaps an underwrap around this area may help?

Well, I guess I’ll just have to fart around with it. I’ll of course wear boxers to start (I have to wear shorts, so this will be interesting). I’ll bring some briefs to possibly change into after removing the wrapping. Basically because I know whenever my head is sore (especially the head) I can’t stand for my penis to be moving around in my drawers. There are some benefits to briefs!

personaly i think you should just use theraband i tried cloth didnt work as well as the thera also i have traction wraped for up to about 10-12 hours with know troubles at all

I do the traction wrap after my am hanging session. I use an Ace bandage that I cut to 1.25” x 18”. I wear this for 6 - 8 hours on my hanging days. The nice thing about the Ace bandage is that it’s soft and you can tuck the end to fasten it rather than use tape. I have found that if you experience discomfort from it its because you’ve wrapped too tight. You just need it tight enough to keep your dick extended. It’s quick and easy to put-on or take-off, so it makes going piss not too much of an inconvenience.

When I traction wrap I have found that my pm hanging sessions are awesome because I am already in a good stretched state. It’s like I pick up where I left off from the morning session.

Not all Ace bandages are alike. Find one that has a soft fuzzy inner side to it or else you will experience some discomfort .

As for just latex, my work is alot of moving around. With summer coming I am thinking that the Theraband by itself will get incredibly sweating in no time..

Because you cut up the Ace bandage it leaves the ends pretty frayed and loose. After about 10 - 15 days of traction wrapping it is pretty much shot and it’s time to replace with a new one. One roll of Ace bandage will make about 2 - 3 useable traction wraps.

I am usually at my job when I traction wrap and most of the work I do is at my computer behind a desk. So, I don’t really get too nasty down there cause I sit on my ass most of the day. It’s not too physically demanding. I understand where you are coming from and so far that hasn’t been a problem.

I use the Ace because of its’ ease to put on and take off. Where I work we have the big community toiletrooms and on any given minute of the day there’s probably 2 - 3 people in there. So, getting in and out with out drawing too much suspicion is important. I would hate to think of the rumors that could get started if I was spending a lot of time in the restroom fiddling around in the toilet stall.

I agree with you on the thera and sweating in the hot summer weather. Maybe a cotton prewrap first? Good luck with the traction wrapping.

Yeah, I gotta figure something out. Something tells me that traction wrapping is important to my progress. And I start hanging next week.

So, are you saying you take it off for each piss? That would seem to me that it would allow the penis to retract further in that short period of ‘freedom’. You know - attempt to turtle.

No problem with it retracting when you piss. It’s more like a breath of fresh air. It allows you to recirculate some blood and get a fresh re-wrap (say that 5 times fast). What is interesting is how pliable and stretched you are after haning then traction wrapped for a few hours.

Much like anything else there is definitely a learning curve to follow when trying to find a solution that will work.

Learning curve? You bet. I am adding hanging w/ the attendent wrapping, and traction wrapping. I am just going to be fiddling with my dick and toys for days on end trying to get accustomed to it all….
