I’m making progress, and slowly understanding hanging mechanics.

In the process my unit has bee taking a beating.

I have stretch marks on the shaft and at base, slight bruising and discoloration on one side, and even some stretched skin that is kind of like scabbing up if that makes sense.

I’ve been using a good coating of Neosporin before I go to sleep

1.) I’ve heard of people talk of Arnica and other stuff, what is the best to speed skin healing? I’ve seen, some talk of udder creme, what’s the word?

Arnica and some type of Vit E enriched lotion are good. But more than anything, it sounds like you are trying to do too much too fast. Slow down a little. This is not a race, and getting bigger will not occur overnight.

On that same note,

I was overlooking some old posts….what is the difference between total fatigue and fatigue? If you haven’t reached your max weight yet or had to lower the weight could one still reach total fatigue?

Total fatigue is where you cannot hang anymore at a particular angle. Kind of like failure of a muscle set in weightlifting. But in hanging, it is the soreness of the ligs etc. which causes the failure. Fatigue is any degree of soreness, and the pliability of tissues you have talked about.

Yes you could I guess. But having to lower the weight is a sign of fatigue. It sounds as if you have reached your max weight.

Untill you get the hanger problems worked out, and have a little experience, I would not worry about fatigue, etc. Simply learn what to do and work with a comfortable weight. Walk before you try to run.

I think your shaft is taking a beating because of your wrap. I doubt you will have near the pain if you use thera, because the hanger will grip better and won’t slide down so much :)

This is one of the single best pieces of advice I have gotten. I tried thera only and there was minimal slippage. But, the stretch it provided was unbelievable, I think since my shaft is now taking all the weight it improved. My unit is getting a great stretch! Past the bottom of my ass!

BIb said it is as well, but it clicked when 2in2 said it today!

Now, the only problem is my dick is outstretching my balls! My balls become very tender after only a few minutes of hanging. Even when I put them to the side, they still become tender and sore after a few minutes. They need to be able to stretch past my ass as well. Once this is happening I think gains will come like crazy…..

Anybody else experience ball problems??

Put one ball on each side as close to the base of you dick as you can, and they will be out of the way. Also, read my newest thread on wrapping- it has more info in there that will help your specific issues :)

I already do that. I bisect the balls, but they still swell up because they are getting mashed into the my ass crack by the weight of the hanger plus the weight. The become sore after a few minutes. This is my only limiting factor in hanging BTC.

I always pull them back up where i want them- it works fine for me. Just lift one side of the hanger at a time (leaving the hanger in its’ full stretch position) and move your ball up, then lift the other side and lift that one. Give it a try :)

What I usually do is pick my balls up and place them high as possible on either side of the shaft. But the constant pulling down fforce of the hanger pulls them doown as well creating discomfort. The skin becomes tough like when you are cold and tender to the touch.

Sounds to me like you need to apply heat to your scrotum and stretch the skin out if it is trying to retract. If you can do this before they get pinched, you may be able to avoid retraction altogether. My scrotum has never retracted while hanging, but I use heat almost constantly :)
