Hey fellow PE’rs I’m having an issue that I need help with.
So I mainly want to do PE for some more length because I have a decent girth (5in natural and could probably hit 5.5 easily) but the only way I want to get length is through hanging.

Now the reason that I only wanna do hanging for length is simple; it seems to be the safest way to get length without having much of a chance of damaging my member.

The thing is being only 19 and living with my parents I can’t seem to be lucky enough to buy an actual hanger to keep secure somewhere that I can access easily let alone find a time where I could let the huge contraption “hang” around.

My question is can I do hanging manually? Like can I just grab and pull down and keep going for awhile? If so how long should I stretch (I know which directions). Lastly is there anything at all I should know about hanging that could benefit me , even maybe a way to build a homemade hanger because honestly the premise of me pulling on it myself and concentrating for a full hour with my busy schedule doesn’t sound appealing

It is really hard to give some suggestion. It seem like you need more information about hanging, I don’t think you are further educated in this subject; you said hanging is the safest way to get length? In fact is the most dangerous one if the member are not aware of the dangers. Again you said if you could hanging manually? Damn, I can’t believe it..

If I was you I would start with the newbie routine for at least 6 weeks and add hanger as the time passes. About the hanger you can built one just follow Bib’s instructions or get a Dog Muzzle attach it a clamp like I do; it is cheaper and no one will have know. As you have tough time you should perform short section hanging period combine it with ADS. First all, make sure you are full aware of hanging

You can’t hang manually. When using your hands it’s called stretching.

Personally I think the best approuch to length gains is starting manual with a light routine and switch to hanging when gains take too much effort or stop. There are instructions at this forum to build your own hanger like an AFB.

Both methods can be safe when instructions are followed but if you’re inexperienced with PE I reckon hanging can potentially be more dangerous. That said I haven’t heard of any major injuries fortunately.

Hanging is very time consuming. If you are worried about hiding a hanger, how are you going to hide yourself for 10 hours a week when you have weights hanging off of your cock?

Hey, on the same subject of hanging wrong, I actually began hanging a few days ago. Still trying to get used to everything, it’s a little weird right now. I’m using a Bib Starter (thanks Bib) and as a quick question, would like to know if the penis is supposed to be bent a little bit. Since the hanger needs to be attached in a static state, the bend would occur right where the edge of the hanger is. Not a huge bend, just about 15 to 20 degrees, but I want to make sure I’m not paving the way for a future bent dick ;) Haha okay thanks.

Yes, I believe Bib himself said the bend is quite natural. From his website:

“It was designed to pull from the middle and to allow the head to rise slightly. Also, the head should naturally come up some. That is preferable to down—and looks better IMO. “

Thanks Mr. Schlong - I guess I should have read his site more carefully. By the way, for anyone who has been hanging.. Does this particular bend in the hanging process become permanent even when not hanging? What I mean is after hanging, are folks now walking around with their dick bent up a little? Lol not that much of a difference, just would like to know what to expect.

That I can’t answer. I wouldn’t think it would become a permanent bend since it’s done wile flaccid. Mine has a natural curve to it anyway (when erect), but I haven’t noticed an increase in the bend either.

Okay so I have another question. I think I’m experiencing what I known as skin stretch. However, this discomfort that I feel (on the shaft end of the hanger) seems to go away within 2 minutes of attaching the hanger. Is this at all normal? Because it seems from reading other posts that any discomfort after attaching weights is not good.

If the pain subsides I wouldn’t worry about it because it would continue if it were serious. I sounds like your just assimilating to the hanger. If the pain were to get worse then you’ve got a problem which would be an obvious signal to stop what your doing but with a loss of the discomfort I don’t think this is something to worry about.

Yup, if the pain lasts for only the first 2 minutes, that sounds like skin stretch to me. If you hang every day, you should find that this pain decreases after a week or two. If it doesn’t, you may want to rethink your hanger placement, because you shouldn’t be stretching the skin every time you hang…
