Thunder's Place

The big penis and mens' sexual health source, increasing penis size around the world.

Thank You Cap.

My 2 cents

The device is awesome and I used the cable clamp at first. I then migrated to a hose clamp because I needed to be somewhere in between 2 and 3 clicks. My solution to the screwdriver slipping is use a nut driver. As with everything personal preferance is varied and results the bottom line. Captn I am very pleased with your design. I can hang 20# very comfortably.

Thanks

Never argue with an idiot...they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Hobby,
>If you want to improve the design, consider using a different clamping method. IMO, it is the weakest link<

From day one I have spoken to this issue - in the very first Wench posting, in fact - and I have emphasised that one shouldn’t expect the same type of subtlety from the clamp as they would from a bolt and wingnut set up.
I’ve made it plenty clear why I encourage the use of the cable clamp despite it’s “coarse increments”. I have made it work and enjoy consistently effective hangs at 15lbs and higher. Still, this does not mean that people are relegated to using the clamp. Just within this very small thread there have been a number of excellent examples of people employing other clamping methods.

>It isn’t as simple as adopting x wrap and y hanger spacing and then using those values effectively every set, every day. It doesn’t work like that. <

I never said it was it was that simple and I don’t recall intimating that one could arrive at a fixed value to be used for the rest of their hanging career. You are over-looking the fact that the Wench is unlike any other hanger in that every material involved (excluding the clamp) is to some degree pliable and this sets it apart from the more traditional “hard” hangers. On the one hand it makes for an exceptionally comfortable hang. On the other, it means that the amount of wrap used will play a greater role in the quality of the device’s grasp on the penis. Therefore, with respect to the issue of wrapping, applying the same thinking to the Wench as you would to other devices doesn’t amount to an accurate or reliable context.
Should someone discover from one set/one day to the next that they are unable to get a tight enough hold it is not very hard to alter the amount of wrap they are using. To say nothing of the subtle difference one can achieve by incorporating a thicker or thinner material of wrap. I’ve used this technique to great effect with the Wench. And it’s worth noting that I have gone for many weeks at a time using the exact same wrap and clamp setting with perfectly consistent results.
And since you bring up previous posts by Bib and others I think you will find enough evidence on this board to confirm that varying the amount of wrap as well as the material of the wrap can and will have a profound effect on the quality of a hang regardless of the device. In the case of the Wench, one simply has to accept that wrapping sometimes might play a greater role. IMHO It’s a small price to pay for its price.

>Even though I haven’t used it much yet, I think it has excellent potential as an ADS and as a light duty hanger. The rough adjustments of the cable clamp will not allow it to grip the shaft effectively for heavier hanging. <

Hobby, I hope I have made it clear that with a little effort the cable clamp can provide a perfectly adequate hold along a very wide range of weight. Beyond using the specific clamp in question there are plenty of options available should someone want to explore them.
I appreciate your feedback and your opinion rightfully carries a lot of weight on these boards, so I wish you had used the Wench for more than six sets before relegating it to the “light-weight” heap.
I’m not asking for a free pass, in fact the Wench doesn’t need it - it’s a device that has and will continue to prove its worth. But given the immense amount of time and money people are willing to invest in getting other devices to cooperate I think it’s not asking much to afford the Wench at least a fair portion of that same focus and concern.

Tooolguy-
Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad it’s working for you.
I don’t use a hose-clamp on the Wench, but in experimenting with Bib’s Uli Thing I discovered that by simply crazy gluing a penny (or a dime) into the head-slot of the hose-clamp I had a permanent handle to use for tightening or loosening the clamp.

Cheers

Cap,
Splendid idea with the penny glued in the slot. I have clamps all over my boat, and I am always retrieving screwdrivers from the bilge, or cussing because I can’t quite get a screwdriver on the screw. I am going to start gluing pennies in all my clamps! And to think I even have something to do with all those pennies in my penny drawer.

Cap, you don’t seem too concerned about folks using round clamps or wire ties. I myself worry about the pressure they can exert on the dorsal nerve, and that since they squeeze the entire penis they also restrict blood flow. What are your thought’s on this? Is there something I am missing?

Steve,
I’ll continue to promote the cable clamp as the most effective and safest locking device for the Wench. But if someone is using a less “oval” shaped clamp or tie and it is working, I’m not going to dissuade them.
I have been doing much work with alternative locking devices and have been impressed that most of them have not negatively affected the dorsal region. It seems that the top part of the Wench cylinder that spans the two gripper rectangles, what I like to call the “dorsal bridge”, does a solid job of preventing the pressure of a rounder locking device from impacting the dorsal region. If anything, the problem is that I haven’t found any of these alternatives to equal the lateral emphasis of the cable clamps.
So, I’m not prepared to promote any alternative to the cable clamp just yet - if ever. But as I said, I won’t tell someone to go against their better judgement.

In fact, I wish Ike would chime in right about now because he has been using a locking device that exerts an even amount of pressure on the Wench. What say ye Ike?

And I know you have been working with cable ties, Steve. What say ye Steve?

Oh yeah, about the penny trick. I’ve seen this “glue” in stores called “Liquid Steel” that might work even better to secure the penny or dime or whatever into the head-slot of the hose clamp bolt.

Hi. Caught me napping. I fell asleep after watching Femme Fatale. Rebecca Romjin-Stamos may have the hottest body on the planet.

So the device to which El Cap alludes is the multi-clamp. I’ve discussed it before in some girth-related threads because I use it to do extreme Ulis. I actually haven’t used it with the Wench, but it would probably work fine. As the Cap says, It does provide even and circular pressure. It is a little bit of a hassle because the gearing is pretty small, so it takes a lot of turns of the little wheel to get it to tighten and loosen.

Below is a thread where the muli-clamp is mentioned. I’ve also attached a picture.

Ike, I have never seen one of those. I want one. I want a dozen. I want two dozen. It looks like the perfect thing for many boat applications. It’s called a multi-clamp? Who makes it? What kind of supply house stocks it? It’s all plastic, as in no rusting parts? Oh, Ike. This day is too much for me. First the penny in the hose clamp screw, and now this. :idiot:

Cap, I do like a loosely cinched wire tie for manual stretching and ADS with my Wench. But when I have to tighten it to hanging pressure, it cuts off the blood flow and my head gets all funny. Perhaps it is my width (5” flaccid), but I don’t find the 1” tall grippers enough to keep the significant pressure off the top of my willie. In fact, the more the sides squeeze, the tighter it gets on top for me. So, not wanting to deprive the women of Florida and Latin America by killing my Pirate Treasure, I use only clamps that squish me on the sides like a vise. And for that, the cable clamp is supreme. Of course there are some other alternatives Cap. Just read my last private message you scurvy dog…

Steve, that multi-clamp thingy is made up the Waterway from you in North Carolina by Camco (https://www.camco.net ) You can find it on their site by looking at the RV accessories (remember to include the hyphen). The site also has a way to search for retail outlets, but it wasn’t working just then. The device seems to be targeted to RV owners who need it to hook up poop pipes. It’s available on some marine-related sites too.

I won’t post direct links because they tend to go dead, but here’s some online outlets:

https://www.dyersonline.com (plumbing-sanitation and then sewer hose accessories)

https://www.not-just-parts.com (I did a search by manufacturer and then went to the Camco page. It was alphabetical about four pages in.)

https://www.marinersdirect.com (plumbing, and then to water pumps and accessories)

Thanks Ike! I have an RV place right around the corner, time for a Pirate raid. You have truly capped a perfect day for me.

Ike,
Stop watching TV for a second and tell about the velcro wrist band you use on the Wench. I’ve been playing with something similar and it has promise. Sorry I mixed that up with all the fancy-speak about locking devices. But that’s what I was getting at.
Now look what we’ve gone and done - PirateSteve has a new toy. God save the RV accessories community.

Steve,
I am getting to your PM. Sorry. I had to go out and see “Master and Commander” this evening. If you haven’t yet you should. The French get their asses kicked something fierce.

Cappy,

Saw it the day it came out. And again the next day. I think I have seen it 4 times now. Had to go. I have O’Brian’s complete set on the boat, and they are mandatory reading for guests. What’s more is I tried out for a part in the movie as crew (they needed real sailors). Bastards told me I was too old. Still, I understood their desire for accuracy, and after seeing the movie was blown away by how they got even all the little technical boat and sailing things right no movie ever has before. So I am pleased you saw it Cap. One day, you and I will steal such a fine ship, and together we will be the scourge of the Seven Seas.

New toy indeed. I will put the damn things on everything Cap. Why go halfway when you can go all the way? And I did find one cumbersome but kick-ass clamp for my wench in my research Cappy. When you get to it, you will know…

Well, there’s a few. I’m trying to find my Timex velcro watch band so I can put it on a Wench, and take a picture; but I apparently hid it too well. Don’t know why. It’s not like that’s much of a bust relative to the other weird stuff I have around here.

But maybe you’re thinking of the Homedics Thera-P velcro wrist band. I use that to wrap around my whole package — balls and all — so my nuts don’t wander up into my abdomen when I Wench-hang. But, now that you mention it, it could be used to wrap and tighten the Wench. It’s pretty stretchy, and since it already has velcro on both sides, one side could just fasten to the cylinder of the Wench, and then it could be tugged around tight for a good secure package. I’ll try it and report back.

The other velcro wrap I’m experimenting with are these cable organizers: VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® General Purpose Wire/Cable Wrap - Cableorganizer.com When the skinny end is put through the hole and pulled they can get pretty tight too.

And I wish I could watch TV. My wife’s watching some Lifetime thing upstairs and my son is catching his third or fourth Pokemon episode of the day. Guess I’ll just drink more merlot.

Yes, that’s what I mean Ike. From this long ago post
Ike - Thank You Cap.

I’m curious about it. The pros and cons. Did you buy that retail or online?

Mmmm. A bottle of fine merlot and a good cigar. Bliss.

Ike,

I have been using those cable organizers all summer on the boat. I use them for holding lines in coils. I was also using one on my penimaster to hold the tabs apart on the rubber band so it did not slip. It worked well at that, but since I built my wench I lost interest in the uncomfortable rubber band on the Penimaster and use my wench with it for comfortable all day stretching. So since then, I have not really used one of the organizers for PE. I would love to hear of any ideas you might have for them - there are a dozen or so in my drawer…

Cap, regarding the watch band, it does work for me as a Wench tightener. I can cinch it up really good and feel the whole package getting snugger. It is very easy to use because it has that plastic loop through which the band can be pulled firmly.

I bought it at my neighborhood drug store. Over by the batteries and film.

But I generally don’t use anything around the Wench when I hang. I do that thing I descibed earlier, where I have velcro on both sides of the hanging strap and the cylinder is a little longer. With that configuration the Wench itself is structually strong enough to hold the 12 pounds I’ve been hanging thus far. But it’s also a function of the wrapping and how I put it on. I wrap with that NoHurt tape and a length of gray Theraband. Then I set the grippers really well against the Therband and squeeze them together as I wrap tightly. (I know you probably do that too.) Anyway, I’ve gotten good enough at it that the Wench doesn’t slip. When I up my weight I will probably need the additional security of a band or clamp.

And Steve, I’ve been working on some ADS designs involving those velcro cable organizers. I’ll be ready to share something soon. I haven’t been able to play much since everyone has been home here everyday since the 23rd.
