This wrap my help some of you

OK guys, I have been hanging all day every day for almost a month with very few problems. My biggest problem has been that the thera will slide up onto my glans and ‘pinch’ it. So today I cut a ‘U’ shape in the first 2 layers closest to the head, and viola, no more irritation :)

I have the same prob , could you give me more detail about this ‘cause I can’t understand the tech !

This explanation assumes you have looked at and understand the wrapping drawings Bib has at the top of the hangers’ forum and that you have watched and understand the wrapping tutorial lil12big1 did. As you can see, you wrap around once all the way around the shaft perpendicular to the shaft, then begin spiraling down in layers.

All I did was cut a ‘U’ on the top part of the thera in the first (perpendicular) wrap and second layer (first spiral downward) of the wrap- the 2 closest to the glans. With the ‘U’ in the wrap it cannot ride up on the head because there is no wrap there to ride up. I hope this explains it, as it is the best I can do :)

What a good idea! It won’t work for me. however, because I have to wrap over the head to stop it from twisting in the hanger. I wrap with the thera first and then with a piece of ace bandage. I unwrap after two sets and taking the thera off kills me! That is UNTIL I read your post about using cocoa butter. I tried it today and VOILA - - - no pain while unwrapping. A BIG THANK YOU for taking a little pain out of my day.

theraband sounds good i like to get some day but for now i use ace bandage. it works pretty good and you don’t have to use tape to hold it in place. you can buy it at any pharmacy store and not to expensive. The only thing is that it doesn’t last as long as you would like it to.

OUCH! I did that once. How do take it off without pain? Try a baby sock with the feet cut out.

Applying a light coating of cocoa butter as desribed in another thread before putting on the thera takes away the sticking. You would think it would slip, but once you figure out the right amount it doesn’t :)

I also apply my bag balm mixture (see my solution for discoloration thread) to the base behind the hanger and up on to the ligs so I can massage them while hanging. I usually let the heat penetrate the first half of the set, then massage the second half :)
