Can I hang for 30 min? Is 20 min. a standard.for some.reason?

In my view time standards are one method of monitoring blood flow. When many PE processes utilize or can lead to some form of restricted blood flow, making sure you stop every so often and restore good blood flow is important.

Just my view. Some of the more experienced hangers may have a better response.

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Agreed. I check the temp and color about every 3 to 5 min. I was mainly asking for time issues as far as my schedule. Im now waking at 5am to do 1 hour of hanging. I want to hang 2 30 min sets with a 10 min interval. I think or at least postulate lower weight at longer time could be good. Asking to see if anyone hangs for 30 min. Also if the 20 min. Is hard rule?

I think of you monitor color, feeling(numbness), etc, then you should be able to hang longer times.

I think it has to do with how tight you wrap. If you can wrap loose and allow more blood flow you can probably hang longer. My current technique, anything longer than 15 and I start to go numb. So like 32quarters said, monitor your color and numbness.

Thx guys for the feed back. I dont use a wrap and personally think ot works very well. I use silicone pads.I formed.wrapped in theraband.for my pvc trim afb.

Maybe move to vac hanging if you want to hang longer at lower weights. Do you vac hang or only compression?

I think the clamp effect somehow is beneficial with compression. Maybe?

I heard some folks talk about an increase in girth at the attachment point, most likely due to swelling and trauma. Not sure if that’s what you mean?

Yes. Like when clamping for girth.

Also larger glans from hanging seems plausible as well.

Hanging seems the superior form of pe in my opinion.

When I did compression hanging my glans went dark around 15 min at 8 - 10 lb so that was my max time. With vac hanging I hang 1 hour straight in comfort currently at 8 lb. Heat pad can wrap around my shaft better too.

Interesting. The variables are so many in PE, but once you sort through some experimentatiin and find a recipe it can be amazing.

I think that time is standard because those who hang using a compression hanger normally use way heavier weights, like 10 to 20 kgs, which is like 20 to 40lbs I think.
