Vacuum Hanger Question about Penis Tip

This question goes out to those that vacuum hang. I have noticed a that the tip of my penis head (areas about the size of dime or nickle around the pee hole) the skin has become a bit “loose” and “leathery”. There is not pain involved so I didn’t put this in the injury forum. I was just wondering if this is normal. My thought is that it might be a blister and will peal itself away, but I’m not sure since there is no pain involved.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Right after having used a hanger, or all the time? I haven’t experienced that, except that the skin gets puffy right after hanging (fluid buildup). But no longterm effects.

By the way, are you using MB’s Vacu-Hanger or the Max-Vac? Just wondering since I have no real idea about the shape of the force that the sheats in the Max-Vac gives.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Its last all the time lately. The area is also red-er that the surrounding tissue. The skin is kinda extra wrinkly. I have used the MB’s Vacuextender as a light hanger and I am now using the Mac-Vac. This happens with both of them.

I forgot to add that this is the spot where I normally get the fluid build up from the hanging, which i know is normal. It is the spot that gets hard with fluid from the pressure. I am also using the no hand pump method.

I have tried using a constriction sleeve and they are great, but I still get that at the tip for some reason.

Upon a closer inspection I believe it might be due to a fluid blister I never noticed. When I apply pressure with my finger it is tender which makes me think that the top layer of skin has separated like in a blister and the new skin underneath is tender because it hasn’t been exposed yet. Does that make sense?

Also if it is becoming calloused, if I continue till I hit the gains I want that then stop, will it return to normal? I find this to be true of my hands but not sure about the penis.

I have no way of knowing whether it would return to normal. It is skin, albeit different from other parts of the body, so I would assume it would eventually return to normal.

However, I would never let it get to that point. If you suspect a blister, knock it off for a while until it goes away. In my opinion it doesn’t make sense to beat it up like this.

After healing, you may want to back off on the weight and build up your weight more slowly. There is always a tendency to hang too heavy too quickly - anxious for gains. But conditioning is important.

I have also had the same challenge. It should return to normal, if you discontinue use for a few weeks assuming you are in the early stages. (Long-term, who knows?) It will result probably in the area further hardening then peeling off like a scab (True for me, anyhow.). My theory is that it comes from substantial and frequent fluid build-up that is forced into and even through the outer layers of skin (glans). Essentially a recurring lympth hicky. I am surprised we haven’t heard more comments about this effect. Perhaps you and I are just a little more sensitive to the fluid build-up. I have had the peel-off effect cycle about 3 times now. Twice due to backing off for a bit due to blister development and it all come off together. Once just because I backed off in general and it peeled away. For me it only takes about a week for it to harden and peel away. I would certainly love to eliminate this effect entirely. For other than this nuisance (and potential long-term damage) the devices are great and amazingly comfortable. Perhaps that is the problem. They are so comfortable that we wear them far to long/frequently than our skin is able to handle. Is the the hardening dynamic what MonkeyBar refers to as conditioning your penis for longer usage? After being in the Extender or Vacu-Hanger for a considerable time I always have a bit of fluid leakage evidenced by a wet tip and actual fluid (small amount like a drop or two) inside the device. I believe it is the fluid attempting to escape but caught in the process that causes this.

This is my theory on this anyhow. Hope this helps. Anyone have any solutions?

I might also add that though the below has not eliminated the effect but it has reduced it by at least half. I really focus on getting the head squeezed into the cylinder tightly. I know I have done well when I take off the device after hours and the head is flat on the end instead of rounded. This results in the least fluid build-up when done. I also should add that I was using the Vacu-Hanger for 1-2 hour set with 5-8lbs for a total time of 3-5 hours per day and following that with Extender usage for almost all remaining waking hours. Even including a light tension for the first few hours of sleep in the Extender. Obviously this is pushing the edges of excess and exposing the member to vacuum pressures for probably 12-14+ hours per day. That is a bit much to expect without complaint.

Well my expierences so far with the Vacu-Hanger is I get fluid buildup at the tip of the head if I hang for about a hour with 5-7.5 pound weights. The tip of my head/glans becomes whitish/pinkish color and looks like thee is fluid buildup. This effect goes away after about a 5-15 min break after hanging. I also have gotten the wrinkly glans/head look with 10 pounds hanging for up to a hour OTS which I won’t do again until I condition a little more (got some negative PI’s on that set) but this went away after a couple hours.

I hang like scabbot pretty much all day and use the Vacu-Hanger as a ADS as well for as long as possible when not hanging and I notice that if I am not doing ANS with the Vacu-Hanger and I go to sleep for the night when I wake up in the morning my glans/head has healed up a bit and is ready for more hanging action for the day (there is less fatigue/soreness in the glans/head then there was the night/day before). Ouviously this means some healing does occur when sleeping.

I would venture to agree with you on that.

Thank you all for your input and some very good explanations and advise.

I finally got a homemade Vac Hang to work. Figuring out what to use as a sheath was tough. Anyway, I was hanging 7.5 lbs for 20 min. When I checked it I had fluid buildup.

My head was puffy all the way around the tip but not on the base. It did clear up but it seemed like it was very little time to have that much buildup. Don’t you think? I never had this problem the 8 months I pumped or at least I didn’t notice it because it was all the way around the head. What I’m saying is only the tip is deformed. Are you sure this is safe?

(Started 2/21/06) BPEL 7.125 - NBPEL 5.625 - MSEG 5.625

(As of 8/23/07) BPEL 7.5 - NBPEL 6.000 - MSEG 5.87

2nd goal is BPEL 7.750 NBPEL of 6.250" and EG 6" - Long term goal is NBPEL 8" - Girth 6.50

Ya I think its safe. You just have to remember that while hanging weights you are drastically increasing the pressure.

As MonkeyBar has shown with the development and improvements made to his VacExtender and VacuHanger devices. Fluid build-up is best reduced or kept to a minimum with the head of the penis being fully pre-compressed and all air being fully expelled from the containing device. That being said, the device should preferably shield the entire glans with a degree of compression. This compression being most focused on the flattening of the tip because it receives the “lion share” of the force. If your homemade device leaves air room around the head or worst yet air pockets in strange places your head will definitely buildup fluid and potentially in strange configurations. The shape of MonkeyBars device is like this \_/ roughly where the tip is compressed in so that when you later take it out you penis head is flattened on the end. Also, it has a hole drilled to ensure all internal air is expelled. Seems to make a big difference in my opinion. Hope this helps.
