What kind of gains per session do you get?

50hrs X 104 weeks is 5200
5200 hrs / 4.5”- 1155 hours an inch.

Bib said he thinks the results would have been similar if he had only hung 4 hours a day versus 8 hours. Either way, his numbers are nowhere close to 150 hours/inch.

Anyone have 4 hours/day for the next 2 years for academic purposes? LOL Gotta hand it to Bib, the man was driven.

Couple things: first of all I’ve talked to BIB extensively about this. He did say he could have got the same gains in half the hang time. Also, he was using shitty hangers i nthe very beginning. He had to invent/create newer and better hangers as he moved along. Also, he said he never really used heat during sets. Only hot wraps before hanging. Also, he never used an ADS when he wasn’t hanging. Nonetheless, when he looked at his log he was gaining a consistent 1/8-1/4 of an inch a month. He said he got two inches in 8 months.

Now, taking into account that we have an optimal, safe, effective hanger from day 1, you have the knowledge to use heat during sets, and you have knowledge to use an ADS I believe that if someone is consistent (key word) they could easily make the same gains BIB did in quicker time. Understand this, rest is really the enemy with hanging. Its not like lifting weights, etc. where rest days are good. Rest means the tissues are healing, getting stronger, and this is bad for our purposes. SO again, if someone is consistent they can easily top BIB’s gains in shorter time.

And what I maintain is that you’ll not have to use nearly the weight Bib did. I think Bib accomplished his gains because he was hanging all day long, but most of us can’t do that. I’ve been getting those kind of gains on 1 to 1 1/2 hours of hang time per session and that was not even on a regular daily basis. It was rather sporadic because of privacy issues. It’s been the application of an ADS that keeps up the gains from one hanging session to another regardless of your regularity.

I’m really getting anxious about the near future here because I see for the next little while I’ll be able to get into a stride again. You’ll probably see a change in my signature stats very soon.

You know the method used to obtain a light constant stress on the ligs is irrelivent because we’re talking here about a principle. That principle is keep the microtears extended and when you can stress them again with higher weights do so.

So every 8 hours should register another 1/8 inch? How much weight are you hanging relative to your max weight? For instance, 80% until fatigue, move down to 75%, etc.

Actually because I utilize a Bungi cord SO and SU my stress level varies according to my condition. One day I might max out and then the next I may give myself a break due to fatigue. At any point in time I can do a few seconds of max stress and then let off when I get uncomfortable. It really changes alot depending on current condition which is influenced by activity of previous night or perhaps stress levels at work or even how much Viagra I’ve had lately. Many factors come into play.

As far as how much gain I can expect, that comes and goes depending on frequency of sessions and also condition again. I had one period where I was taking some NoX2. It actually caused me to loose stretchability. So I lost about a weeks worth of progress. Things like that can crop up anytime so you have to be flexible and go with the flow.

I was doing jelqing and a few manual stretches and using NoX3 and some other herbal supplements.
I started hanging 6 lbs with a wench for 3x20min. There was no change in length for about 2 weeks.
After knowing from Monty that NoX2 affected his progress, I stoped using NoX3. Then after about 3 weeks of hanging my BPFSL went up from 6.75 to 7 inches. I’m not sure if it was NoX3 that affected or it was too early to see any change in gains. Anyways, I do not want to experiment with NoX3 again as I’m going fine with my current routine with noticeable results.

I’m hanging 11 lbs SD with static weights, SO and SU 7 to 8 lbs equivelent stretch with bungi cord and 2 lead rings for ADS. My current BPFSL is 7.2”.

I have a question. I recently got golf weights and wore them to school but was afraid of them both slipping off and being too noticable. I thought of tying a string around all the weights and then back around to the back of my pants and tying it to my belt loop. This way it will hold it back and in case they decide to slip off it wont drop out of my pants. Will this work ok? And…do you HAVE to use a wrap? I just slip them on and they fit nicely and wont come off.
