What kind of wrapping for the captain's wench

I just made myself a captain’s wench and it works fine. I am not completely happy with my wrapping at the moment. I am using a peace of cloth..

What do you guys use under your wench?

In the hanger’s Forum, the thread “most important hanging threads” by BIB, explains pretty well the correct wrapping technique for every hanger, follow the instructions LITERALLY and try to realize that the wrapping is what actually grabs your penis, the hanger merely holds on it. I use two cotton stripes of about 1.5” x 30” and a plastic stripe of the same dimension I obtaining by cutting and pasting a dish washing glove.

The under wrap that I use is called What-A-Grip and it feels great, of course I don’t use the Captains Wench any more. I have moved on to a better one that I hang with. You can get What-A-Grip in Wal-Mart in the sports dept where the tennis equipment is. Try it you’ll like it, if you get it make sure that the smooth side is next to your penis. ;)

Gauze, then theraband. The theraband rubber contacts the gripper rubber of the CW and that shit is like crazy glue. No slippage.

I have Theraband on the website but I like to use J&J Hurt Free tape. Really good grip and comes off nicely.

I like the J&J better then Theraband. I think the grip is equal if not more secure but perhaps not the level of protection of the Theraband but then I prefer the better grip. They really do an equal job.

Should the wrapping be so tight that the cylinder of wrapping around your penis grips your inner penis tightly enough that the skin underneath it does not even move? Because usually, no matter how tight I try to wrap, when I put the hanger on, the wrapping seems to move (with the skin, the skin does not slide out from underneath it, rather it moves with the skin) down my shaft and toward my glans. I remember reading that the wrapping and the hanger should not even be able to touch the head, which means that the hanger and wrapping should be tight enough on the inner penis that the mobility of the skin will not move anyways.

The wrapping isn’t going to do any gripping on the inner penis. That’s the job of the hanger. All the wrap does is give grip to the hanger and contain the skin so it doesn’t get pinched. The pressure on the sides of the penis is what grips the inner structures.

You mentioned that your avoiding wrapping the glans and that nothing should touch the glans. When I wrap I always include at least half of the glans because if I don’t then I’ll get fluid buildup on any portion not covered. Now when it comes to the hanger not touching the glans, I agree. the hanger should be set back enough so there is not pressure on the glans at all. This means just what you’ve said there should be no mobility of the hanger on your shaft when clamped up.

I just use Ace self-adhesive bandage with the Wench. It’s worked fine for me and I’ve had no problems, but I haven’t hung more than 5 lbs yet.

I have a little bit of slippage when I put my Cptn Wench on even with ACE bandage and theraband wrapped on my penis. I hate using the cable clamps when I do an ADS. Should I be wrapping the glans so it is thicker holding the Wench from slipping off? Any tips?

I have to say that I have always used the Capt’n Wench. Today I went and bought some true metal clamps (like the kind you find on the dryer) and what a world of difference. It actually feels like my ligs are being pulled a lot more. Up until now, I have used the cable clamp to secure the hanger but I think that thing is going to have to retire as of…..NOW.

They should be close enough that you don’t get any distortion or twisting of the gripper under them.

Are you talking about hose clamps?

They are pretty good to use, just slow on and off.

Do yours have removable wing nuts or do you have to carry a tool with you?

The one’s I have on the website are removable. Just curious.
