Which hanger should I buy?

Hello guys. Facing a dilemma here. I wanna start hanging but I’m unsure on which hanger I should buy. I read an experienced member saying that all hangers do the same thing basically so it’s a matter of comfort. I saw a video of a vac hanger being put on and it looked kinda displeasing. I’ve had trouble using an extender already because my flaccid is terrible and from that video, it looked like I’ll need to have a solid flaccid to be using that vac hanger. Is there anything more basic that will still do the job but will be far easier to put on? I read 5.5squared’s log and seen him and a few other very successful members go with a thing called the US routine or something like that which I can’t find more info about. I’m just hoping their routine doesn’t require a special hanger and any will do. If there’s someone doing that specific routine please do let me know.

I would definitely go with a vac Hanger over a compression hanger. I tried both and in my opinion vac hangers are much better and easier on your dick.

I imagine any vac Hanger will do. I bought mine from totalman it was cheaper than others. I am really happy with it and would recommend it. A few goes putting it on and you will have it worked out, it isn’t much effort at all.

Vac hangers handle lower weights. That’s the area you should be playing in as a new hanger anyway. A lot of people will do all their hanging in a low weight range.

Compression hangers can handle higher weights but are much more effort to work with.

There are home made versions of both of these if you are OK with using tools and want to save some cash.

The vac hanger on totalman was the one I was saw and it looked kinda difficult to put on, isn’t it?

As for making my own hanger at home - I couldn’t even change a lightbulb let alone craft this. Lol

For the totalman - which chambersize and sleeve size should I be getting? I’m around 5 inches BPEL, not measured girth recently but not very girthy.

Fair enough. There’s a range of prices out there from different suppliers and most have been reviewed here in some form. Check the product forum if you’re not set on totalman.

It really isn’t difficult to put on, I had reservations too but was chatting to member 5.5 Squared before I bought it and he reassured me. You’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

For what sizes to buy totalman recommend measuring girth just behind the glans and they they show a table of what sizes to buy depending on your measurements. If you are going with them let me know and I can give more information.

Poke around on the totalman site. There are instructions on measuring. Your corona measurement determines with size cup you need. Your stretched mid shaft circumference is used to determine the sleeve diameter. I ordered the 3 small cups (size 1-3) and the small (21mm) sleeve.

Ordered the vac hanger from totalman sizes 1-3 28mm-38mm / 21mm inner diameter. I expect it will take ages before it arrives, I’m in Eastern Europe so at least a month I guess :/

My worry is that my flaccid won’t be long enough, it’s pretty small and always in turtle-mode, gets bigger if I stretch it I guess. Have you other guys had this worry too?

I need to get a heatpad too though but I wanna order that from my country so I don’t wait too long for that too. Just unsure on what the translation is, we have an ”electric pillow” thing which I think is the equivalent of a heating pad, is it? I’m leaving a link to an example from a local site, if the link is a problem let the moderators remove it - Електрическа възглавница, 40X35, до 68 градуса - eMAG.bg.

It took 7 days for me to get my stuff from total man, I live in UK. You should be able to get a heat pad on Amazon, have you checked there?

I wish I had bought both right at the start and then tried them and saw what works and continued with it. In 2016 I tried 6 months to get Bib’s hangers to work and then bought Vac Hanger and realised few things. I would have saved a lot of effort because using Vac Hanger is really easy. It can take same weights that I used with Bib and not limited to 20min sets. I would have got same results fasters and easier and probably with same time and effort, much better results.

Then the thing that haunts me now after 5-6 years. I had beautiful dick. Perfect shape, slight upward curve, perfect glans shape. Uncircumsized but with tight foreskin that is rolled behind glans all the time, beautifully. Only it was not big enough. Hanging with Bibs brutalized my dick skin. Discoloration all over and stretch marks all over. And looser skin. Just woke up in the middle of the night anxious because I saw dream that I had my old beautifull white and tight skinned dick and then I had ruined it with my own stupidity.

Also bib hanging caused girth gain of 0,4”/1 cm. That is fibrosis that does not belong there and could hinder erection. Fortunately my erection is fine.

Bib vs vac

I’ve been using Bib’s hanger on and off for years. I’ve gained a bit over an inch and a half in EL and a 1/2” in EG, now about 5 7/8”. If I could be more consistent, I’m sure I would even have better results. I’ve gone from ~5.5” to almost exactly 7” EL. No bruising, still have great, rock hard erections at 70 and my cock looks and works as well as it ever has(if I do say so myself) No more multiple Os and my ejaculations have substantially less volume but my stamina is excellent. My gal and I are intimate 2-4 times/week and that’s fine.

As an aside. I exercise vigorously almost every day. Intense CV like swimming, biking, tennis, treadmill, handball.. Something as well as weights EOD and clean eating, never touch fast food or soda or chips and that kind of crap. Very important for your well being.

I hang 5-6 20 minute sets/day, occasionally a few more. I like to split that up into 2 sessions so I’m getting good time under tension at different times of the day and hitting fatigue fast, usually by the end of the first set. I read some where 10 hours/week is the minimum thresh hold and I believe that’s about right.

I’ve tried several times to use a vac hanger, the last one being a TotalMan set up. It seems no matter how well I tape my head, it’s gets very sweaty inside the cap and the tape works itself loose, I can’t feel that and I ended up with bad blisters. Took weeks off to heal. I’m from the Bib school that believes in not taking time off, I try to hang every day.

Never have had problems with my Bib. It’s very important to gradually accustom your cock to both the number of sets and the weight you’re using. The one thing I differ with Bib on is the wrap, I never could get that theraband wrap right, I use about 30” of stretchy wrap. Now my flaccid is long enough that I can vary the location of the Bib hanger on the shaft. The closer it is to the head, the more pressure so as I progress into my session, I’ll move the hanger back on my shaft as well as dropping the weight.

I also believe an ADS is important and have tried several over the years including one I fashioned myself that worked very well. However for the past year I have been using a TLC Tugger. It’s been wonderful watching my foreskin slowly remain covering the glans. It has increased the head sensitivity quite a bit too. I can get just the right amount of tension using it as an ADS such that it very comfortable to wear pretty much all day & night. It does come off on occasion when I have nocturnal erections, that’s OK.

PE is a journey, I have a box full of different devices I’ve tried over the years. What I’m using now seems to work better than anything. Whatever you find that works for you, consistency is equally important.

Good luck

What model do you use and what is your max weight?

did it arrive yet? I think mine was 6 days from US to UK, you soon get used to putting it on and taping your head correctly in a matter of minutes. don’t rush take your take speed will come after the first 5-10 times you put it on. also for me personally lubing the sleeve and cup makes for much easier application.

Bib hangers

There are a couple different size hangers that Bib crafts and my first was the larger one. I forget what he has said the minimum flaccid length was to use it but at that time that was almost exactly mine. Anyway it was a unwieldy so I got the smaller version. I’ve been using that one ever since. My flaccid length is now a bit over 5” so I have given the bigger Bib hanger some more tries but I just prefer the smaller one.

I made the Captain’s Wench and it was OK. I also bought TotalMan’s compression hanger and it was not good at all. Bib’s hanger provides narrow spaces for a little return blood flow but TM’s totally stops all blood flow and really ramps up the pressure on the head. It’s pretty scary seeing my head blow up and turn a dark purple using it so it’s in my box of devices.

My PE story is one of forced breaks like this summer I moved about 2200 miles. I have a shop full of machinery and materials and rather then move it all en masse, I made 4 trips over the course of late spring & summer and slowly set up my new facility. I just couldn’t spend time hanging although I wore my ADS religiously and consequently when I restarted hanging this past Sept, I had to drop down to 7 1/2 pounds. I had been hanging in the low 20s and I’m up to 11-12 for my first set now. I can tell it’s working as I’ll have some soreness at the base on my large suspensory ligament when I press on it.

As for vac hanging, I will say TotalMan’s setup was very well made but man that sleeve was a real struggle to get on and off. I had some sleeves from another vendor, I forget his name, but they were much softer and multi colored depending on thickness and rigidity. But again, vac hanging with them blistering was a problem. If I’m going to be doing something fairly active, the TLC Tugger won’t work and I’ll use one of his sleeves just to keep myself elongated but without a cap.

Malehanger by far the best. New design lets you get a rock solid grip, price , support, no blisters (vac), can use higher weights and easy to put on and take off. For less than $70 you can be hanging and I assure you it is the best product out on the market.
