I’m curious about this too, I can’t find theraband in my area so any alternatives would be great.

I cut two silicone sleeves and used them on the shaft portion id attach the hangar to.

Try Walmart. Or target. Or any sporting goods store.
Does your thang hang low? Does it wobble to the flo? Can you tie it in a knot? Can you tie it in a bow? Can you throw it over your shoulder, like a 50lb boulder Does your thang, hang, low?

Maybe stretch gauze or an ace bandage? And then tie multiple cut latex gloves around? I’ve never tried it, this is a question and not a suggestion.

Whats wrong with theraband? Use some lotion and then apply the theraband. No skin discomfort and gives the best grip.
