I have been only hanging for a little over a month now and I use the standard bib hanger. I was under the impression that you needed to use a double wrap. I started my hanging with a wrap of ace bandage then used the theraband over that. This was fine until I started hanging over 5 lbs. This is when I started seeing problems. I started seeing twisting within the hanger and slipping problems that caused some numbing in the glands after I hung for a 20 min. Session. I have read where bib said to try different things so the other night I tried wrapping only with the theraband. WOW, what a difference that made. I found that it solved the twisting problems and also I didn’t have to have the hanger so tight. It also solved the slipping problems and I can now hang more weight without the glans getting any numb feelings. One thing to add, use baby powder before applying the theraband or it might hurt when taking it off.

I started this thread just to see what you guys do and what works for you. I think being a hanger, you can never have too much information on wrapping.

I have gained 1/8” in length BTW.

I abandoned the theraband for just a piece of Johnson and Johnson non stick 2” bandage. It will give the grip without the problem of sticking when it comes off. The only reason I use a wrap at all is to prevent skin pinching in the Bib.

I use two times cotton and one time theraband .. I use the first cotton directly behind the glans (that prevents the doughnut), the second behind with the added theraband.

I use just theraband in the BIB.

I used standard wrapping techniques as shown in the video, cotton wrap (20”) and theraband (15”). Getting bib real tight helps avoid slipping. Although I don’t hang heavy weights yet.
