True, too much heat can be really bad! Maybe I’m not needing so much heat? I am pulling 60 minutes in the tube on average now, 2 5-minute warm up sets with no heat and then 10-minute sets to 50, 60 or 70 minutes, mostly 60. I use heat for all the longer sets. I’m not noticing any changes if there’s more or less heat applied during a pump session. However, I may be experiencing edema more often when I have more heat. I just got done with a 60-minute session about 40 minutes ago and I don’t have edema at all, I pumped 4 days ago.
Hmmmmmmm now I’m wondering if heat, and how much, is needed at all. I’ve been mainly using heat to go for more expansion to pack my 1.75” diameter tube. I’m going to see what’s up with heat my next few sessions, maybe I don’t need as much.
