Anyone else using a heating pad wrapped around the tube to warm up?

One like this will do the job. Hardly Normal and Good Guys stock them

I use similar and wrap it round the cyl

I run my tube under very hot water prior to use and then wrap my heating pad around it while I pump. The heat definitely helps with expansion.

Size anxiety is the mere response to viewing other males as a threat and the corresponding jealousy it causes. Realize that your feelings are a response to a perceived threat and the anxiety will disappear. My log: Big Booty Extravaganza (and Log)

Don’t pump without it anymore. 💪🏽

I pumped one set the other day without wrapping the tube with a heating pad. I was floored by the difference there is in expansion from using one and not using one. It doesn’t even seem proper to pump without one.

Tube heats up wrapped in heating blanket while I jelq above an ir heating lamp. So yes.

I find pumping with a heating pad makes glans blisters far more frequent which limits how long I can pump. It really kills any momentum when you have to stop for 3-4 weeks to heal up from those.

I find using a larger tube filled with warm/hot water to be far better to warm up. I use a much larger tube for that then switch to a narrow tube that I pack easily (without any fluid buildup) to then stretch and engorge the head. Doesn’t take long either and I get nearly the same expansion in a fraction of time with nearly no risk for blisters. When I did heating pad sessions I could go for a while but it was unclear as to when theyd set in, 20 minutes or 60 minutes, I hated having to always look and realize I was only 5-10 minutes in and the start of a blister was showing…or to peel back the pad and see a huge bulbous blister already formed. I could get a good stretch that way though and usually hit about 6-9psi and even work up way past it around 15-19psi without any isses. It was really the prolonged heat that brought the fluid to the surface though.

So yea, lesson: hot water pump for way less time for more noticeable gains and no fluid buildup. Just fillerup with hot water and angle the pump while pumping out water through the handpump standing in the shower. Go in it with a semi which seems to help the seal. Should help some of you clandestine pumpers get more gains faster during your shower time.

Just tried my new tube and heaters a few minutes ago and love the whole setup. I have a steel exhaust tube wrapped in a couple 10W USB heaters I got from eBay for like $3. They take some time to heat up, but they maintain 43.5 degrees C pretty well. No water to deal with or packs that lose heat over time. 10/10 would recommend.

I made my own donut shaped rice socks that completely encircle my tubes. They are perfect and work like a charm! Only I have to reheat them basically every set; I do 10 minute sets at 3-3.5hg now. I would like to try an electric heating pad but I don’t want to be tied down to a power outlet during all my sets. I’d like something that gets to a great temperature and stays there longer than 10 minutes! I’d take 20 minutes at this point. I lose time with heat in the tube to reheating my rice socks in the microwave.

Is there something anyone can suggest that will fit my needs? Sounds like a few options here but the thread is almost 4 years old now and some of these things might not even be made or be worth using anymore. Thanks in advance!

I wrap an electric heating pad around the tube and I let the tube heat up for about 15 minutes before I actually use it.

It’s usually very cold where I pump and I consider the heating pad on the tube to be a time saving measure since I don’t need to warm up separately.

I have to say that I haven’t seen evidence of the heat doing anything for gains in my personal experience. I used to pump without a warm up and without the heating pad and I haven’t seen a change in gains from introducing the heating pad. In theory it makes perfect sense, and lots of veterans attest to it. I just haven’t seen any evidence it’s useful myself. And it doesn’t seem harmful.

When you first try a tube wrapping set up, you should stick a meat thermometer between the heating pad and the tube to get an idea of what temperatures it’s reaching. It is possible to cook your penis.

True, too much heat can be really bad! Maybe I’m not needing so much heat? I am pulling 60 minutes in the tube on average now, 2 5-minute warm up sets with no heat and then 10-minute sets to 50, 60 or 70 minutes, mostly 60. I use heat for all the longer sets. I’m not noticing any changes if there’s more or less heat applied during a pump session. However, I may be experiencing edema more often when I have more heat. I just got done with a 60-minute session about 40 minutes ago and I don’t have edema at all, I pumped 4 days ago.

Hmmmmmmm now I’m wondering if heat, and how much, is needed at all. I’ve been mainly using heat to go for more expansion to pack my 1.75” diameter tube. I’m going to see what’s up with heat my next few sessions, maybe I don’t need as much.

When it comes to wrapping the tube for heat, it’s definitely not good to allow the tube to get too hot. Since my heating pad gets hotter sometimes than others, if the pad is really hot l usually check it within 4 minutes to make sure it is not too hot, if the pad is not really getting that hot, depending on the temp that I feel from touching the heat pad, I may check anywhere from 8-12 minutes. And to add to what some of the others are saying, I pumped like 7 months with no heating pad, and when I used it for the first time, I won’t pump without it. Definitely makes pumping more comfortable and I think I recover faster now from pump sessions now that I pump with heating pad. Another thing I done instead of holding the heat pad by hand the entire time is to wrap it around the tube and use some Velcro straps to secure the heating pad on the cylinder, all the way up to the bottom of the head so I can still easily take a peak to make sure everything looks fine while in the cylinder. I also remove the heating pad from the cylinder between pumping sets as well, so I’m not cooking my unit as soon as I’m trying to go back in the tube for another set.

Ive tried pumping in the sauna, hot tub, as well as at the beach on a hot day and got really good results. I noticed that I was doing a lot of my pumping naked so I invested in one of those onsie hoodies with the sweatpants attached, cut a hole for the jar to fit, and pump laying down with a blanket over me. I get hot enough that I need to remove the blanket from time to time. Downside is that things can get sweaty. I’ve debated getting one of those sauna tents that you sit in and zip up to your neck, or some sort of device that keeps my bath water warm. I already have an overflowing duffle bag of stuff and I dont feel like trying to explain why i bought a personal sauna.

Packing

When you ( I mean everyone) talk about packing, does this mean with the skin stretching with the fluid underneath or just all member? I know I get a donut sometimes under my gland but I’m not sure if that helps member growth or just room for more fluid. I hope that made sense.
