Hey guys:

Today I had a good workout on the old schlong with my usual pumpup to 8”. However I noticed that the base IS not widening as the glans and midschaft. I use a gravel cleaner (1 3/4”); pack is about an hour and then work towards the length which is coming. Anyone out there with similar situation and how did you improve the base thickness? My base is about 5” and head is about 7” while pumped. Looks somewhat deformed. Anyway, any help would be appreciated and thanks—Steve

Could it be that your glans is so wide that it is totally packing your tube and limiting vacuum expansion at the base?

Sometimes I’m quick. Don’t expect it every day. :-)

If you are working with a 1.75 tube, you are good for a bit more than 5.5 girth. If your glans is 7” around (congratulations, Steve, and to your sexual partners), you’ve got to be pressing the side walls pretty tightly. That packing can impede pumped expansion at your shaft base.

So the question is, is your glans all smooshed against the tube wall when you pump up?

I’ll ask Peforeal to weigh in here. He’s got a huge base and knows more about base development. Gprent might be able to help, too.

You have the opposite shape shaft to me. I’m 7” or so around the base and 5 - 5.5” around the glans unpumped/erect.

You’re going to need a larger tube because of the large size of your pumped head in order to expand the rest of your shaft.

I suggest:

1. Get at least a 2.0” cylinder. You need more room for your glans.
2. Wrap/compress your glans area with ace self-adhesive bandage or similar product (purchased or homemade) before pumping.
3. Pump.

Because of your particular shape, unless you keep your glans compressed from expanding fully, the pumping won’t be able to affect the lower part of your shaft which is where you want more expansion. Right?

Let me know if this is along the lines you’re thinking.

Thanks peforeal: I was thinking of a larger tube. The problem is that with a larger tube my balls are earier sucked in. I’ve done the old tie-up trick with a very wide rubber band—one of those that is on produce. until the base expands a little but don’t know about a larger tube. What about that self-adhesive bandage; can you get into a tube with that stuff wrapped around your dick? Thanks again—Steve

I used to have problems with my balls being sucked in but no more. I tie them down using a cutout 2” strip of rubber bicyle tire tube. The rubber is initially a bit tight, so just stretch it out a bit to increase the elasticity of the strip.

I then fold the 2” strip over into itself to form a 1” strip that’s double thickness. I do some stretches on my ballsac first to loosen it up. Then I put some lube on the interior of the rubber strip, use my fingers on both hands to stretch it wide and pull around my ballsac, with my testicles now below the strip.

This keeps my nuts in check when I pump. Even using the wider 2.5” cylinder, my nuts are safely kept away from being sucked into the cylinder. I also get another benefit of having my ballsac stretched from the pressing of the cylinder downward on the rubber strip.

I hope this makes sense. This is what I’ve used for at least two years. You could also try tying them down with with ace self-adhesive bandage, but this rubber bicycle tire tubing has worked efficiently for me with no problems.

To respond to your other question, I wrap my mostly semi-flaccid dick first with the ace bandage (area below glans), and I can easily get into a 2.0” or 2.5” tube. Just experiment and see.

Having been a somewhat “on – off” pumper for quite some while, I have discovered that gravity would appear to play a large apart in where the main blood diffusion occurs in the corpus cavernosum during pumping sessions.

For example, when I pump and keep the pump body in the near vertical plane, then the result after a while seems to greatly increase the cavernosum base proportions (near the body) compared to the gains in the meatus end.

Similarly, when I pump keeping the pump body in the horizontal, then the main increase is in the meatus and that end of the cavernosum; the base seemingly lagging behind.

My usual technique is to start my session keeping the pump vertical and then, as the base fills the pump, change to a horizontal (sometimes downward) pump attitude in order to place the remaining session emphasis onto the rest of the cavernosum and meatus.

Please excuse my presumptuousness in jumping in with an on-going thread (this being my first post to the forum), but I felt that my past experience may be worthy of note.
