Bathmate for PE

So id like to start off saying I’m pretty new to PE. I’ve done some research for many years on PE and I’m still on the fence about it. I started out using the jelq technique a couple years back and that only lasted about a month or two. When I would jelq I would bruise to easily and it would cause discomfort. Towards the end of my time jelqing I even had a few drips of blood come out the tip of my penis which scared me to death. I did more research and what possible damage I may have done. It turns out that I broke some blood vessels causing some blood to drip out. No permenate damage. Scared me enough to make me stop all together. It’s been a little over a year since that happend and now I’ve recently purchased the bathmate. I ordered the bathmate X30 based on reviews and price. I got the x30 back in July and used it as recommended. Once a day for 15-20 mins. The gains were great. About 3 weeks into using it I started brushing bad. Like real bad. Put it this way.. After using the x30 for 15 mins it looked like I beat my penis with a hammer. Yea that bad. I called bathmate and they recommend me to get the x40 which is a bit larger and allows me more room. I was told the bruising would stop with the x40 due to it being larger. So I returned the x30 and got the x40. I’ve been using the x40 for about 4 weeks now and at first the gains were great an they would last for hours. I know the gains are temporary at first but then will lead to permenate gains. I’ve noticed when I use it that I’m not much different in size after using it. There’s a little bit difference but not like it used to be. Is the bathmate a hoax? Does using the bathmate for PE even work? Is there some sort of routine to follow when using it? Will using it lead to gains that will last? Does it take 6-12 months to see results cause if so then thats fine. I just need to know that all this effort is going to a good cause. I need some guidence here. I’ve read so many forums about the bathmate and how well it works. I know the gains aren’t going to happen over night. I just need some feedback from some one who has been using the bathmate longer than I have. I’m beginning to feel like the bathmate is a joke. Like I’ve wasted my money. Please.. Any insight would be very helpful.

Wow. You can take spaces for free bro.

What do you mean ” I can take spaces for free bro”?

I mean use paragraphs. Very few people will read big block of text. :)

So any insight on my thread since I’m assuming you took the time to read it.

Blood from the penis means a damaged urethra, I think. This happens when you apply an improper grip (an OK grip, generally) and a too tight grip.

The problems you find with the Bathmate are also related with too much time/intensity. I think you should rest for a week or two, than forget the BM for at least six months doing only manual exercises; learn the proper technique, apply low force and progress a bit over the weeks. It is time under tension, not the degree of tension, that will carry gains Otherwise said: time is more important than force. Too much force is just counterproductive.

By the way, the BM has been around for years now, yet I have to read of anybody who claims had permanent gains from it (I could have missed, but I wouldn’t if they were many).

It does.

Not really but instead of going for straight x amount of time you can split it by 3 or 4, empty the vacuum every time and re-pump it (could be tough physically though).

Yes but it will take time and you must make sure you’re not measuring the very temporary increase that lasts less than a day.

It very well could, especially if you are going for length since it’s not mainly for length at all.

So explain yourself. So what kind of routine do you use with the bathmate? Are you saying to use it for five minutes then release the pressure, fill it back up re-pump for for another five minutes. And continue this for 20 minutes. Is that what you meant by splitting it by 3 or 4? Also should I be taking breaks? Should I go for 3-4 days of use and then rest for a day or two. I ask cause the bathmate instructions say to use daily but I’ve read that taking breaks is good. It will allow my penis to rebuild cells thus causing the length and girth gains I want to achieve.

Yeah the idea of splitting it is basically to release the vacuum and pump it up again few times per session. maybe do a little massage to get some new blood into the penis. You can use it every day or take days off, see how your penis reacts to it.

Yes, I think short sets with the bathmate is the way to go. But if you jelqing between these short pumping sets, or if you do it after your pumping. You will need restdays!

Bathmate is also a great warmup tool, using low pressure, 5 minutes.. and great to use when you warmdown/ cooldown.

I use the BM when I warmup, then after that I begin my jelq session or pump session. Then at the end off session I warmdown with the BM.

Starting size: 7.48" X 5.51" Currently: 10.1" X 6.4"

Heat is the key!

But by releasing some vacuum ill be letting air in therefore the next few pumps won’t have as good vacuum. I’ll be pulling the air out with the next few pumps but not removing anymore water due to the large air bubble being let in. Are you saying to keep refilling it after I release some vacuum? Or does not adding more water not matter?

Still some people gain from using an air pump?
Where’s the difference? BM users may do some recreational pumping?

I assume you would be using it in the shower or bath, so adding water shouldn’t be a problem?

Ok dude. I’d like to thank you for being so helpful.
I do have one more question about using it and this issue has kinda concerned me. After I get done pumping a get some swelling around the base of my head. It appears to be water retention. It’s a rind around my shaft at the base of my head. This “water ring” happens ever time but only lasts for about 20 mins and then dissipates. Is this normal?

Yeah it’s quite usual and it’s harmless. Similar to the effect that happens to your fingers when you are in water for a long time.
