Bathmate or generic air pump converted for water?

Hi, after reading a lot about how great water-pumping is, I’m wondering if the $150 bathmate is necessary to do it, or if one might as well get a cheaper (say $40) generic pump and convert it to a water pump by attaching a special valve (as mentioned in one thread).

I know this thread is a week old but here is my opinion.

I own a bathmate and I also own an air setup that I just put water in without any modifications. I just put enough water in that it never gets into the tubing.

I like this setup better because I can actually measure the vacuum level and be consistent. It cost me $75 which is 1/4 of the price of my bathmate xtreme. And it works better.

Just my opinion.

I use water in my home made air pump and it works well.

exactly, water just to cover the penis, and pumping lying in bed to avoid sucking water

you can control pressure and is a lot cheaper than BM

I agree. Bathmate is a good product and I have it, but the separate feature of controlled pumping is better. I may get a similar setup eventually also.

I found “bargains” for hydromax, they would cost less than most air pumps (Leluv aside) . I don’t like the lack of gauge, but I read the thread Water pumping>air pumping and it seems many end up with much less edema and better expansion. What do you guys think?

The inability to monitor the pressure is a major turn off. Could such a price change one’s mind anyway ?

I found a universal handball converter that makes your penis pump into a water pump, it works great for me.

BATHMATE is a useful tool to have. Depends on money you are looking to spend maybe start with air pumping see how that works for you then upgrade if you feel the need
