Bathmate questions

Bathmate questions

I replaced my bathmate valve which wasn’t working last time and now I wanna restart my activity. Got some questions bugging my head though…

1) What routine should I be using with the pump? Can anyone give me an exemplary routine that can be scaled over time?
2) Should I be entering the pump erect/flaccid or it doesn’t matter?
3) Lastly, there’s something that’s super confusing to me even though I read articles about it. It’s about the vacuum pressure I think it’s called, saw some figures like 5h and similar and I have no clue about it. Can someone please explain this to me, how I should be checking my pressure and what levels should I be aiming for?

You need a vacuum gauge to measure the vacuum pressure, and Bathmates do not have gauges. A gauge allows you to accurately monitor the vacuum level you are pumping at, and importantly, be able to consistently pump at that same level for your pumping sessions.

If you did have a vacuum pump with gauge, a good starting routine is -5inHg for 10 minutes.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

So what do I do in this case? I only have the bathmate. How do I measure pressure and etc?

With the equipment you have, you can’t. If your bathmate sleeve is sized appropriately for your current level, your only option is to trust it. 10 minutes at a time, with a 5-10 minute break in-between. Give yourself a little love during break time to encourage blood flow.

Whether it’s a bathmate or state of the art gauged pump, hard gets you fully pumped faster. That’s the only mechanical advantage. Entering flaccid, you should go slow, to reach a full pump safely. Too much, too fast, can be bad.

If you can enter hard, kegel and see that your glans expands. Kegel each pump, and count each pump. See if your glans expands. When it stops expanding, stop pumping. If you’re gonna do more than one set- After you release for blood flow, use the same count to get back to pumped. You may not be able to expand your glans anymore, if you can, reference that and continue counting. Your PC muscle may be tired, your tissue may be expanded beyond your muscle capacity. You must count.

The only way around this, is using a gauge.

Try the above instructions. If you’re still wary, a decent tube and gauged pump are much cheaper. Or modify your bathmate to use the gauged pump.

To my knowledge bathmates, or any other system where the vac pump is part of the cylinder, cannot be modified for a vacuum gauge. Or rather, cannot be modified in a cost effective manner. It would be less expensive to purchase a vac pump and cylinder.
