buying a pump from LA pump, do I need their video?

I’m interested in buying a pump and cylinder. I’ve been checking out the La pumps on lapdist.com. The deluxe package has a video. I don’t have a vcr but could get one, has anyone ordered the video and can you tell me if it was helpful? I’ve never pumped before and I will review this forum before I start, and would like to know if anyone recommends the video.

I gave it some thought and after reading posts on this forum decided I didn’t need it. Stick your dick in a tube and pump. Not too complicated methinks, but I have been curious as to what’s on the darn thing.

I think that maybe all you need do is to have a look at the Pumping tutorial on this site, that should really provide you with all of the basics.

The video is presented in textbook style with 2 males models demonstrating various techniques throughout. One guy is average size and the other is on the large side. Topics covered are:

The Male Genitals-Basic anatomy
Exercise and proper diet
Prolonging erection with masturbation
Erection enhancement devices
Vacuum devices and there operation
Surgical and medical techniques

As the narration describes proper methods, the models are demonstrating and they show forms of masturbation and massage and the techniques for using various devices, including the vacuum pump.

There is probably lots of stuff you already know, but I am sure things you can learn. So I would say it is worth a viewing. I wouldn’t go out a buy a VCR for this, but if you can borrow one, it is worth watching.

Unless you want to be inspired by the model with the large unit, there isn’t much on the tape that deals directly with pumping techniques. You’ll learn more from Gprent and others here than you will from the tape. Save your money, imo.

Exactly. The video is more like a poorly made porno. I threw mine into the trash after just 1 viewing. Don’t waste your time and money on it.

It was pretty gay, in my opinion, and taught me nothing about pumping that Avocet hadn’t already covered in Pumping 101. If you want to see buff, oiled men stroking themselves, that’s fine, but I still wouldn’t bother with this one.

As I recall, the thing that made the Deluxe Package (a great choice of words, you gotta admit) worthwhile was the vacuum gauge.

If you want to see a couple of guys pull their puds, eat a salad, and lift weights and make

funny faces — then the video tape may be of some interest to you.

Do they actually make a salad? Or is that just something gay guys do when they aren’t oiling up and pulling their puds? Just curious.

Thanks for the input. I can buy everything in the deluxe package for $10 less than the deluxe package, sans the video. Video doesn’t seem worth it. Thanks for making that clear.

The Urban Dictionary appears to contain explanations to current words or phrases which are submitted by everyday Internet users. It certainly helps when you’re confronted with a phrase used only in one city or part of the country and don’t understand what it means.

I have a copy of that video - it came with the delux set up from LA Pump - it is sitting here unopened and unviewed (there is a naked man on the cover and I don’t like naked men - even myself).

I would offer it free to anyone who wanted it, but I’m not in the habit of mailing out gay soft porn.
