Can Pumping damage your penis?

About two months ago, I purchased my first ever pump, at the same time that I purchased my fleshlight (bought them both from the same place on the net).

Upon using the pump for the first time, I became very hard while inside the cylinder under pressure. I began to feel familiar sensations at the base of my cock, and for whatever reason, I had a huge spontaneous orgasm. I immediately removed the cylinder. I began to feel a little bit of pain and sensitivity around the base of my cock, perhaps in my “ligaments” (not sure of the technical term) down there.

Since this episode, whenever I try to spring a full on boner, I feel the same sensitivity in the base/ligaments of my cock. I have had a few fairly decent erections since, but I feel like I am not able to get them as often.

Anyone else have an experience like this? Anyone have any ideas about what is happening to me?

By the way, I am 34 years old. Admittedly, I have noticed decreasing vitality in my member over the past four or five years.

did it have a gauge? Did you go over 5-6 hg?
If you stayed under that amount, then it did no damage (most likely).
If you went over that and over 10 hg, then it could have caused damage.
However, any claims of damage have tended to subside over a recovery period where no PE was performed whatsoever.

Basically, stop playing with yourself for awhile (which it seems like you have).

Most likely it’s just psychological.

That said, worst damage I’ve ever caused myself is a thrombosed vein.

That’s the first question, the pressure: make sure you go from 5 to 6 or 5 to 7 mm Hg.

My pump has no gauge.

The cylinder seems large for my penis size. My penis gets no where near the edges of the cylinder when I pump.

My normal erect penis is about 5.2 inches long and 4 1/3 inches in circ.

The “pain”…it’s more of an ache…occurs only when I attempt an erection. It seems to feel like it is coming from “inside” the core of my penis and toward the very base.

What it sounds like to me is that you pumped with too much pressure which caused the base of the cylinder to push into your pelvis causing soreness. Go to Harbor Freight or Autozone and buy a brake bleeding kit and use that pump and attach it to you cylinder. It has a gauge. You never want to pump without a gauge. If you do you are just looking for injury.

You might also want a new cylinder that fits you better.

Having a cylinder that fits correctly should solve your problem.

The other important thing to remember is not to stay in the cylinder under vacuum too long. Release the vacuum every 5 minutes or so to restore circulation.

First of all, stop all sorts of PE as other said, until you get your normal erections.

And then if you want to pump you can buy a pump that fits your size.

I bought 9x1.75 size as gprent suggested me for my girth 5.1 inch. This sized cylinder is good go even for 5.5 inch girth.

For your stats, I would suggest you 8x1.5 inch.

Pumping at low pressure between 4 and 5 HG, not longer than 20 minutes, jelq between sets, is the way to go.
