Cheap quality pump from the UK

Could anyone recommend a good first pump to get for under £50 from the UK? or even the US if its cheap delivery. I just dont want to waste money on a poor product.

Funny this I’m looking for one myself. try the pumpers forum.

yes I’ve been looking in the forum but i cant find anyone suggesting what pump to buy and if they are its usually from the US which is so expensive to have delivered.

I don’t know about the UK, but in North America most 20 to 100 US$ pumps are mostly pretty cheap and breakable.

Above 100 you could start getting quality pumps.

Check out LA Pump. I’ve gotten good feedback from it from other PE-ers. Don’t know whether they ship to Europe or not.

For brake bleeding, maybe. For penis pumping, $20-30 is enough. Likely there won’t be any liquids (especially oil or grease) or pressure above 5” Hg.

Thickerwall or pumpers paradise are good bets.

Thanks merlinthewizard, I think I’m going to go for the mustang pump kit from pumpers paradise.

Make sure you get the right size, remember the mustang cylinders are tapered. I own a mustang and a thickwall. Thickwall is better than the mustang (no taper and much thicker wall with no seam at the base, which means more comfort).

If you mean the pump and not the cylinder; then good choice. I have my Mustang pump for a few years and it is a solid quailty product. I purchased my 2” and 2.25” cylinders from Thickwall.co.uk; they are made to order and are very good quality.
