Combining hanging AND pumping?
Quick question to anybody with some experience with combining hanging and pumping.
Quick background.
Have been doing PE on and off since late 2018 early 2019.
7.75 BPEL Cemented but was able to get up to 8.125 BPEL before I stopped 5 month ago. I can`t say for sure what my gains have been since I am not sure if I was 6 or 6.5 when I started. So on the low en about an 1.25 to 1.75 gain.
Girth is around 6.25 but can swell a little more depending on EQ. I am sure I am up .25 at least.
Most if not ALL my gains have been from hanging. I use a compression hanger. Last weight was 20 LB.
My routine is simple: 600 minutes a week. Sets of 15-20 minutes and I try to get at least 80-90 minutes a day. I split my hanging AM/PM and when possible I might have a mid day set. BTC and SD only.
Weight was increased 1/4 pound per week. Last time I did a 7 months straight ending in Late October. When from 7.5 to 8.125 but as I mentioned turtled back to 7.75 and has stayed at that for the last three months so I figure it is cemented.
Going to start again on the Monday the 29th. I am going to reload to 10 LB and work my way back up. Goal is to get to 8.5 or 9 so that I can cement a above 8.
I am thinking of pumping after my last PM set.
Going to work up to one set of 20-30 minutes while keeping it no higher than 5-6HG.
I am thinking of doing this to bring back the blood to area and maybe see if my tool reacts positively to the change up in the routine. A quick way to add more time under tension.
So here are my questions??
1)Am I waisting my time and should I scrap this idea.
2)For those that have done this combo what advice can you give me? Should I add an extra set of pumping?
Any feedback is appreciated.
