Dry skin after pumping

I’ve been vacuum pumping for several months. Have had some minor bruising which cleared up in a day or 2. I read here about using heat and wrapped the cylinder with a heating pad. Wow! Pack the cylinder in no time. I’ve always used a moisturizing lotion on my unit. The last few times I coated the inside on the tube with a KY type lube. Things felt great, warm, slippery, packed tube. What’s on to like! A day or so later my skin was dry wrinkled then pealed itchy, like a sun burn. When this heals up I will try it with out KY and probably a lower heat setting. Has anyone else had this or similar issue?

KY is an ok lube for sex, or pumping, but it has no moisturizing properties. Either change the lube you use for pumping,(coconut oil, olive oil, etc) or use a good moisturizing lotion (l like Palmer ‘s cocoa butter) after pumping.

Switch to coconut oil. This stuff is God sent!

I pump with olive oil and my dick skin never dries out

I may have to do that, I water pump and my dick gets very dry after.

The coconut oil and olive oil seem to have cured my dry skin issue. I’ve started a suggested deconditioning break, so won’t be doing that for a while. Try to get back to weight training/lifting.

I water pump and as the seal has gone I smear a bit of Nivea on the rubber. When finished pumping I put a bit of aloe vera on and jelq the penis which rubs in the cream-aloe vera in and revives natural skin color and stops dryness. Nivea being pure hand cream and aloe vera being natural.

I pump five plus days a week and use cocobutter from Walmart about $2 and have never experienced dry skin on my dick.
