Electric vs. Hand Pumps

Hey vets, anybody have any experience with electric pumps? I’m wondering whether it’s really worth the extra expense. CTC has a new digital model that is programmable and pulses so that you can wear it continually. Any thoughts on the possible benefits/drawbacks?

Brianrex.

First off, smoking body. Amazing.

To your question I can not understand why any one would need an electric pump. It takes a few hand pumps to get up to pressure. It seems like a waste.

Well, I’ve got myself an electric, and WoW, so much easier than hand pumping, As I type, I here hand free and pumping.

I purchased this of ebay for a bargin £60

James

(I’ve only used it a few times, so to early to really tell any difference)

I’d like to try an electric pump, but I’m not willing to pay the kind of high prices that sellers want for them. Now, if the prices come down, I’ll have my visa card ready to go.

Well, I just bit the bullet and picked up VacuLogic’s QS7 electric pump today. Definitely not cheap, but so far it’s pretty amazing. Really quiet and connects to my PC for “dynamic pumping” — which allows you to literally program in the amount of pressure, duration at each level, etc. and store the routines on your laptop for running again in the future. For example, you can program a routine that pulses the suction (between zero and whatever) so that new blood is regularly circulated back into your penis without leaving the tube. You can also pump at extremely low pressures for long periods of time. I’m not sure I’ve really grasped the infinite potential of it all yet. Did I mention that it felt incredible in the tube when I took my test drive earlier today? Very different from the static pump I get with my hand pump. This is definitely my belated X-mas gift to me, lol. I’ll report back on how it compares to my old hand pump in terms of results. Stay tuned…

Program it into your PC? That sounds wild!

LOL- make sure you don’t accidentally bump your keyboard the wrong way during your session. I shouldn’t be laughing, that wouldn’t be good at all. Careful with it. Does it have a program lock function so it couldn’t be accidentally changed/tampered/bumped ect…?

brianrex,

Thanks for the update on the vaculogic. Now, I’m intrigued. Keep us informed as to results, usability, etc.

LOL @ bump the keyboard! The software actually displays a real-time graphic image of the routine, displaying pressures and run time. So you can keep on top of what’s happening in the tube each step of the way.

Gee this sounds really interesting and how knows one day when our wallets are looking healthier.Brainrex, keep us posted with your progress and any interesting developments.

Luckily it doesn’t work with Apple computers, so for the moment, my wallet is safe.

One question though. Can you operate it without being tied to your computer?

One more question. Can you tell exactly what vacuum level you are drawing in inches of mercury?

Yes, you can operate it without your computer, but it will be in “static” mode. That is, you would have to adjust the pressure manually with the knob. But the good thing is the device is very precise and will keep the pressure at exactly the level you set by shutting the motor on and off, even in static mode. Most of the time it is quiet because the motor doesn’t have to run to keep the vacuum. And, yes, when you use it with your computer, it provides a real time display of exactly where you are in the program, including elapsed time and current pressure in hg. It stores the record to your computer for future retrieval and comparison. (Damn, I sound like a marketing rep for Vaculogic, lol.) I’ve only used it once so far, but it’s really kind of cool. I guess I can be a bit of a geek about all of the technological toys. But there’s something cool about watching a graphic display of exactly what is happening to your dick as it expands and contracts in the tube. Can’t wait until tomorrow to incorporate it into my clamping/jelqing routine. I’m still experimenting with program profiles. Should be interesting!

brianrex, you said it’s quiet, as in how quiet? Comparable to, say, a refrigerator compressor, or an aquarium pump?

gprent,

I have an Apple computer at home too, but the company says they’re working on a Mac OS version. $500 is a bit steep, but if it works, I guess I may shell out the bucks eventually. Of course, I could bring home the PC laptop that I use at work in the office and go for it. I’ll be interested in all the reports that brianrex can give us.
