Thought I’d roll together a few questions into one thread.

1) I’ve just spent £25 on lubricants :( at least that’ll last a while! Anyway I bought the usual KY jelly plus I bought one bottle of KY liquid, has anyone had success with this for pumping?

2) How does my routine look? I would like to do more sets but it gets messy and hard to clean up, and takes longer.

Warmup with heat pad,
50 dry jelqs,
Warmup more, while I prepare the tube, and then myself.
Go into tube usually at about 90% and pump up to 4-5 in/Hg. Feel a good pull just now at 5 in/Hg so don’t go higher.
Wrap heat pad around tube and remain at about 5 in/Hg milking to 6 in/Hg rarely because the KY jelly ‘runs out’ pretty quickly.
Have heat pad around tube for 8 minutes, then take it off and pump for a further 2 minutes, making a 10 minute set in total.
Come out of tube and use remaining KY to do 100 wet jelqs.

Then I go to the bathroom and clean my unit and hands with cold water.
I then dry jelq some more to get a bit more blood in there, post cold water effects (which aren’t that bad!).

The reason I ask is that although I seem to be packing more and more of the tube, it’s moving very slowly in comparison to some reports I’ve read, particularly with 1.75” tubes like mine. Is it an ok routine, and enough to gain? I do it 6 days out of 7 or so and would hope that this kind of slow and steady routine would cause microgains or the cementing of previous microgains every day, however small. It’s ok if it’s not the fastest routine, but if I did this for a year, do you think it would be enough? Obviously my physical makeup plays a big part in this, but I’d still be very grateful for your opinion.

I’ve been trying the Thera-P wrap at this point but the pump doesn’t last. I put it on quite tight and in less than ten minutes it’s retracted, thoughts?

3) I’ve nailed the weak erections I was hit by a while back down to lack of confidence, and happiness with my penis. I’ve since sorted that and without any vasodilators had a ‘great’ erection like I used to pre-PE last week, and I wake up with one like I used to too now. I’m also noticing more and larger veins in both flaccid and erect states. This isn’t actually a question, more a thank you to the pumping regulars here (Avocet, Peforeal, gprent, SS4 to name but a few) as I mark this as the turning point.

Final point, sorry this is so long. I’m looking forward to when I can post as an authority in this subforum and help others out.

To use KY most efficiently, you need to have a bowl of warm water handy. After your initial coat of KY all over your cock and just before entering the tube, dip your fingers into the water and massage your cock to really make the KY wet and slick. Then you will not have drying problems when pumping. When you come out of the tube to jelq, don’t use more KY, just dip your fingers in the water and that will keep it slick, and before going back in the tube, juice things up again with a little more water. You will find this works much better then adding more KY and you will save a ton of KY in the process.

After your final 100 jelqs at the end, I would finish with a nice massage and rock hard hardon for 15 minutes if you can. Once again, make use of your water to keep the KY slick. If you have a cock ring, this is a very effective time to put it on. Or you can clean up and get an erection and put on your TheraP. But the idea is for you to get a natural hardon to make your body replicate the fullness the pump has just given you.

I would rinse off when finished with warm water not cold, but if cold is your thing. By keeping things nice and warm after my workout I find the pump effects last much longer. For me, at this stage of pumping, the effects last all day and night.

One more little tip. I apply the KY and water and also pump the pump with my right hand. Instead of trying to wipe off my hand before grabbing the pump, I just grab the pump with a towel, leaving the KY on my hand. When you come out of the tube and use your water dip, the KY on your hand is also rejuvenated.

I am no expert and mean no disrespect but are you only doing one set of 10 minutes in the tube? I dont see any packing of the tube until my third set of ten minutes. I also leave a glass of water at my desk for re-lubing in between sets even when I pump with a condom. I very lightly jelq in between sets to recirculate blood and I dont do any kind of counting, just enough to move the blood around. I try to do 4-5 sets of 10 minutes at 5-6 hcg 5 days on and 2 off. For me, I dont believe I would have seen any difference in my dick flaccid or erect with one session a day.

I was concerned about the mess thing when I first started also, I have managed to do the following: Put a little hand cream, KY jelly, KY liquid or vitamin 3 oil on my dick to do some jelqing. Then get firm enough for the tube and put on a condom. Lube the condom with some KY product, use a little water to keep it lubed and go into the tube. Wrap my heating thing around the tube, pump up to 5 hg for 10 minutes. When done, pull out, do very light jelqing for a couple of minutes, get hard again and go back in. I dont re-lube because I just wet my hands a bit more from my glass of water. I dont even lube the bottom of the tube for a tighter seal. I have to pump a couple of more times to keep to 5 hg but what the hell. I have less cleanup.

Lol, I’m still in the conditioning stage as I had two weeks followed by a month’s break and I’m now just starting again.

Thank you both for the tips, I really appreciate your time. I have some ideas for routine modification now. I’m going to get a bigger towel, increase the number of sets but reduce their duration (time is a big issue at the moment).

How does three sets of 6 minutes with jelqing inbetween sound, followed by more jelqing at the end and stay hard as long as time allows (probably only five minutes or so)?

I know Avocet is a fan of shorter sets with manual work inbetween, what does everyone think?

I think you are doing just fine for a newbie. You can break it down from 10 min to shorter sets if you don’t also increase your pressure.

Re: The TheraP wrap
Any level of engorgement is good. Don’t expect to hold a hard-on indefinitely with this thing - it won’t happen. But if you are even a bit larger when flaccid than usual, you’ll get the healing benefit. During the time you wear it, try fluffing yourself up a little now and then. Think vulgar, sexual thoughts. :)

I support gprent’s suggestion of concluding each PE session with a firm erection. Not only for the blood benefit of that but doing so proves you have not overdone some aspect of your routine and so worn yourself out.

After the 30 minutes total, I was packing a good 1/4” more of the tube than I had been yesterday. That’s good progress. I came out of the tube and did 100 strong wet jelqs till the lube ran out.

Now I don’t know whether it was the final jelqing or a latent effect from the pumping, or a bit of both, but I got more lymph buildup than I would normally. In fact, I pretty much get no lymph buildup normally, i.e. I don’t get the spongy effect and the meatus is fine etc. Anyway this time the meatus was swollen with lymph, and this was the main affected area really; so is it ok for that to happen regularly? I mean, what is better? Me doing shorter, fewer sets and avoiding the lymph buildup (particularly in reference to the meatus) or staying in for a total of 30 minutes or so to get that extra bit of tube packing and the slight length boost it gives?

Since you are still a pumping newbie, the slight lymph buildup is to be expected since you’ve increased the length in time of your three pumping sets. You can pretty much massage or wetjelq this fluid buildup to normal. Not to worry. I think your three 10 minute sets at 5in/Hg are just fine. The additional tube packing is a good sign, but don’t rush the progress. When pumping newbies start to get overzealous with pressure and time in the tube is when greater degrees of lymph buildup occur.

FYI, it’s been over three and a half years since I joined the pumping ranks, and still today for me personally it has been the greatest contributor (along with wetjelqing) to my permanent erect and flaccid girth gains. I wish you well.

I’m going to cut down the set time to 8 minutes but still try to do three and play about with the times until I get a balance of lymph buildup to size increase. I wasn’t totally happy with the level of lymph buildup but couldn’t quite decide whether it was worth it to have that extra tube packing.

Going in hard and keeping hard will help keep the fluid buildup down. Condom pumping helps also as does water pumping, though I’m still very new with the latter.

It’s really tricky getting the best possible pump and workout. Experiment with differnent approaches. If a routine is not working or is now longer working switch it up. One day a particular routine gives an incredible workout and you think you found the magic solution then you try again a couple of days later and you only get half as good results. The pecker can be very particular and I think you see that with pumping more than with other forms of PE.

But when that fully pumped log comes out of the tube, there’s nothing quite like the feeling!

I go in 90% hard and kegel in blood as I’m pumping up to my max. I don’t watch porn or anything while doing this (I don’t watch porn, and don’t want to have to download hours of footage to cover my pumping regimen) so although I have amazing engorgement in the tube, veins bulging etc. it’s not the best inflow of blood possible. I’m hoping that this won’t matter so much, as I don’t generally get a lot of lymph buildup.

I may experiment with condom pumping so I can get used to using them.

Is anyone using small doses of viagra for their pumping sessions? Is it worth it? I know you can’t take cialis 5 days a week but it’s ok with V isn’t it? Then again that would be an added expense, and I can only get generics. Maybe good for once a week?

I think some fluid build up is inherent to the game. No one on this board as far as I can tell has figured out a way to completely eliminate it while still have a workout sufficient in time and intensity to generate decent internal expansion. The goal really is fluid minimization and there are lots of suggestions (water, condoms, inner tubes, etc.) on ways to do it.

I’ve not tried any aids though I think my PE would benefit. I am curious on those who have and what their pumping results have been and whether they see it as a significant PE pumping plus..

I like the extra hardness and dick stretch I get with using generic Viagra and pumping. I use the viagra about one/twice a week on average for a change of pace. A 25 mg dose does right by me.

I split a 25 mg tablet into fours. Just enough to give me a raging hardon while I am in the tube and it happens to keep my dick filled up during the day as well. I forget most of the time but probably end up doing it twice a week.
