Finally almost back after 3 month injury break!

Finally almost back after 3 month injury break!

Yup, the last 3 months have pretty much sucked. I had to take them off due to a lingering thrombosed vein. I was stupid and kept pumping at 5-7 even though the vein was hurting and really hard. But now it’s almost healed and I am ready to get back!

I have a couple questions though. My cylinder is a 2” diameter, and 8 inches long. When I was pumping, the cylinder would be packed about 80% of the way up, and there would only be about 1/2 inch of space left at the end of the cylinder. It was always very tight around the base, and this is where it was painful. So, could the tightness of the cylinder around the base and shaft have caused the thrombosed vein which came back twice? Would getting a new cylinder, maybe say a 2.25 x 9 be a better fit and reduce the injury?

Thanks guys

It depends on the size of your unit. This section contains several threads devoted to selecting the correct cylinder size for you.

Sounds to me like you are ready to buy the next size up and that 9”X2.25” should be perfect. Once you get it, if it feels a little big, just start your pump session with your 8X2 and as you fill that up, then switch over to your new cylinder and continue.

Remember to take it easy with the pressure so you don’t start off with an instant injury after your long break.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Irish Jim: I was mainly wondering if the constriction of the pump could cause a thrombosed vein, similar to clamping I guess?

Gprent: Do cylinders have universal connections to the hose? The one I have now is a female connector that you push the hose into and it snaps in. Is this pretty standard?

Yes, the connectors are common.

I have only ever had one thrombosed vein but that was caused by me using too much pressure; I knew from the sharp pain I felt during the pump session that I had done some damage. Maybe someone else who has had a similar problem caused by constriction within the tube can chime in with some advice.

Thanks for your help guys.
