Flared tube v.s straight wall tube.

Hello to all,I am planning on going up in tube size within a month or so and have started to look at new tubes online,and would like to get youre guys opinion of flared tubes compared to straight wall tubes,I am not talking about the comfort flare that sits against the base of the penis.My whole pump system is from Kaplin and his tubes have that flare where the tube gets smaller as it heads for the top of the cylinder.I see most other tubes/cylinders are the same size diameter all the way to the top. I have only used straight walled cylinders but I would imagine that if your goal was to have a consistent girth for the full shaft that a tapered cylinder would not help with that goal.

I’m pretty sure the only reason the tapered tubes exist is because the manufacturer put the taper on the tube to allow it to be made via blow molding or with simple round dies. Tubes with lengthwise parting lines take more complicated (expensive) tooling. Tubes made from straight (usually extruded) tubing and glued-on caps tend to be the most expensive since the tubing far more expensive than the raw plastic it is made from, plus the end cap has to be made and glued in place.

Not a compliment worst tubes I have used I got a blister very first time using one of his tubes and this was after like 15 mins, the taper doesn’t let you feel that the pressure is to high, threw it out 20 years ago. Never again. I have seen several threads on here speaking of oval thick walled tubes from Vacutech sorry to say they are out of business. Great ! The best tubes ever!

I have pretty much tried most of the usual suspects. But, I can say that the LA elliptical model is phenomenal, at least for me. One needs to swallow their pride to go down a size (as they recommend) because the 1.75” model (as an example) is actually over 2” on the wide side. For me, I can feel a better pull on the sides, which is where the CC are anyway. Pump Toys are great too, with their flared base (not tube), plus their novel angled entry option. Just need to find the one that works for you!
