Ever since I first began to understand the concepts of pe, I have always wondered if girth would be gained evenly all the way to my body. I always feared that if I continued to gain length while gaining girth, that the base would begin to narrow just before connecting to my body. It was nothing to fear really, because this would not occur overnight.

I just felt that this would have a greater chance of occurring through gains reached by pumping. Apparently this does not occur, as the the veteran pumpers here have not mentioned anything about this occurring.

I starting to wonder if I should only focus on length first by hanging primarily, then work on girth after I’ve gotten reasonably close to reaching my length goals. Like hanging till I reach 9” then working on girth and length together to reach 10”.

I would enjoy any opinions about gaining girth by pumping. Also, any opinions on symmetry.

Today I done a little further inspection by myself. I already have a base that is thicker than the rest of my shaft. Maybe this I can attribute this to the pumping that I have done in the past. I was not always that much thicker at the base. However, upon inspection today, I realized that the bottom of the cylinder while pumping rests about 1.5” away from my anus. So, I guess that most of my base, and a tad bit of my inner penis is being exposed the pressure of the pump. I have just always worried about getting a quick drop off in girth down there.

That is only with a 2” inside diameter cylinder at this time. I imagine that once I’ll be using large tubes, I will be pumping more of the base also.

As a side note my LOT is roughly 8:00. I noticed that while pumping @ about 4 hg the cylinder extends off of me @ about 7:30 or so. Maybe that is why my LOT is at 8:00.

At what angle do most of you find that the cylinders rest while pumping?

The cylinder weighs enough to pull your erection lower, without support of your hands. It was my impression from reading the LOT survey info that generally guys with dicks that have higher total volume tend to experience the loss of tug at a lower “time” on the clock - eg, below 9:00.

I feel most comfortable while pumping to keep the cylinder at about the same angle as a normal erection - for me that’s perpendicular to the floor. Go with your own normal angle.

Remembering back through posts here in the Pumper’s Forum, most guys seem to get more girth at the base first, the exception being the Baseball Bat fellows. Girth then tends to move slowly up toward the glans. Usually we first pack at the bottom of the tube.

peforeal has or had a greater amount of girth at the base but found too that the upper shaft was thickening so as to even things out. Maybe he’ll have some things to say about how to concentrate on that happening.

My erection angle is at about 9:30 - 10:00. I have often wondered if it would be best to keep the cylinder at that angle. It does lie on its own at 7:30 or so. More of my penis enters the tube at a lower angle. I don’t really feel that this will change my angle of erection. If it will, I will begin to keep the pup at the proper angle.

After all the pumping I’ve done, my erection angle hasn’t changed a bit. If 7:30 is comfortable go ahead with that. A lower angle of pumping, too, lessens the chance of a ball being sucked it.

I was visualizing keeping the cylinder at 9:00, and that is exactly what I remembered happening ocasionally. I believe that I fill the cylinder pretty well, so only the tubes from my testicles and part of my sack would slightly get sucked in the cylinder a little. This hurts and gives you that “hit in the nuts” feelin’. I’ve pumped at about 9:00 while driving on the interstate a few times.

As for my previous question, I’ve decided that I will be closely monitoring all of my gains all the time and I will not let myself gain in an undesirable way. As you mentioned before avocet8, the best way to go about pe is to do it by feel and really pay attention to your penis. I will monitor everything and use each method that I choose to use accordingly.

I see pe as an art form. We are carving the penis that we most deeply desire to have. Just as an artist, we need to apply different things at various amounts to get our desired outcome. I am really beggining to see the most likely pe paths that will give me the size that I desire.

I’ve been getting those petiachie hemorages again (small pin point size red dots) from my pe regimen. I now have a pump with a guage and know at which pressures I can pump at and not get these, but I believe that I am getting them mostly from jelqing. I am jelqing at 70% to 80% erect and using slow intense 1-3 second jelqs. Maybe I’m squezzing just a little too hard or something, but I doubted.

I used to get them from pumping with a bit too much pressure before I bought a pump with a guage. Since then I’ve been able to monitor things and learned that I don’t get the petiachie hemorages when I pump at 2.5 -3 hg. I’ve been pumping at 4 hg lately, and feel that it may be condributing to me getting the hemorages along with the jelqing.

They’ve cleared up completely in four days, and I’ll begin pe again today.

I got the red dots when I first began jelking more fully erect. They didn’t seem to be in any way related to pumping in my case, only to jelking with a more blood engorged shaft.

Don’t know about you, but I prefer no red dots on my work of art.

I’m new to pumping but not to jelqing. Been doing it for over a year now. Try jelqing less erect, say at 50 or 60 percent. You can actually jelq as low as 40% erect. You will get the same results as you are now with less chance of those nasty red spots. I can’t jelq that erect, there’s not enough give. It’s not good to jelq too erect. I know a lot of sites say you should, but I disagree with this. The less erect you are the easier it is to force blood to the glans.

want, I agree that when you are less erect you are able to trap more blood ahead of you “ok” grip. I have been allowing myself to jelq at harder erections because I felt that it was increasing my girth. Many people here claim that jelqing at higher erection levels works on girth a bit more. I will give it a shot though. I did not notice the small red dots before(with just jelqing) when I jelqed @ about 50-60% erect.

I can’t remember how long you’ve been jelking but I can tell you it takes a good long time to condition your dick to jelking at a hard or very nearly hard erection. Stay at a lower level, very gradually moving up to harder. This may take weeks or months.

This isn’t a race. Take your time, cementing your gains as you go along.

In regard to gaining girth more evenly, staying with a diameter tube that is not too much larger than your normal erect girth will help. I have gained a lot of girth at the base of my dick from pumping and have been finishing up my pumping routine in my 2.50 inch diameter tube. Recently though, in order to even out/balance the girth along the whole shaft, I have shifted back to using my 2.00 inch diameter tube more. I think I will continue using this size for awhile, until I start to equalize the girth of my shaft from the base to below the head. So far the results have been good.

Thanks peforeal, I do believe that tube size does effect where gains will be produced. I’ll keep that in mind.

Avocet8, I had always jelqed with lighter errections. I guess that I increased the intensity too quickly.

Kojak, you’ve expressed something fundamental and profound: in regards to mind as well as body, we are our own creations.

Avocet, I’m still working on a newbie routine (one week, daily) and I’m getting a good girth gain already, primarily, I believe, from the combination of 80 - 90 percent erect jelqing and 50 - 60 percent erect horse440s, and flacid A stretches. I always start jelqs at 0 - 10 percent but, like it or not, I work up real fast (newbie…). Eventually, I want to follow a more extreme, DLD-inspired routine to max out my girth (At 7 bpel, I’m okay with current length, although I know I’ll gain).

My question is (maybe I can find a thread addressing this): why the aversion to erect unit work? I can’t really prevent erection during some exercises, but if it’s detrimental, should I try more aggresively to NOT erect? I understand the dangers and I listen to my body, and nothing yet has given me any warning sign.
