Any of you guys know if this would be a good one to start with?

Hey equium!

I’ve had a Mustang pump for some years now and can recommend it. I’ve had no trouble . The only slight annoyance is if water pumping is used, the barrel needs to be lubricated with something like a high quality olive oil to stop it sticking. If you intend to do water pumping it may be worth while asking Body Images (Mustang) what they recommend for a sticking pump in these circumstances.

Ok, I’ve finally measured myself:

BPEL: 6”
EG: 4.4”

And based on the ‘selecting cylinder size’ thread, I should get a 1.75 cylinder as I mainly want to improve girth at the moment, I’m hoping streching and jelqing will increase the length. So I can’t go with the Mustang pump because they only come in 2 x 9 size. Can anyone recommend another pump where you can custom pick a 1.75 x 9 for example? I want to make sure I get the right cylinder size because both my testes were undescended as a child and so they haven’t developed properly (I’m 19 now) so I’m at even greater risk of them getting sucked into the pump!

Cheers guys.

In alphabetical order:
Boston Pump
LAPump
PumpToys
Vacutech

Personally, I have the Vacutech thickwall straight cylinder, and have been very satisfied with it and with Vacutech customer service.

Before you make a decision, you might also want to look at this thread to see Crazyd032’s experience with Boston Pump’s customer service:

Boston Pump was incredibly slow, but it has been worth it. While I have only been experimenting with pumping for about 5-10 days, I have already enjoyed it greatly. Pumping for one set at 5-10 mins, at 2-3 HG, I saw increased EQ & morning wood. I also noticed a fuller flaccid, and my cock felt plump the rest of the day. I noticed these things after 3-4 days.

There are other companies that are competitive on cost and quality, and who are not incredibly slow. I recently bought an additional cylinder from VacuTech. I ordered it on Tuesday, with estimated Friday delivery; it arrived a day early, on Thursday.

I’m glad that you finally got your cylinder, and that pumping is working out well for you.

I really like it. It is great for me as I am not trying to get gains from pumping. If I get some, then it is gravy. I am just using it to aid my other PEing (stretches, Supra Slammers). The increased EQ is amazing.

Picturebrite very cheap, you get a pump and a cylinder, i ordered the 1.75” by 9”, it cost me about $28 and it came within three days even though i got the 7-10 day shipping.

Thanks, GGChase. It’s good to get the positive reports as well as the negative ones. Prospective purchasers can get a better picture that way.

Did you purchase via EBay or via their web site?

Their website, i ordered the 1.75” Cylinder and it came standard with the “bike” type pump, gotta say at $28, its definatley a steal. Today was my 2nd pumping session and im liking it already.

Thanks for the replies guys, Boston seems to have a good reputation despite briefly reading about the seal problems, will order my pump now :-)

It’s good to hear that a newbie is using Boston and it’s working well!

April 08: BPEL = 6', EG = 4.4' --> Aiming for BPEL: 7', EG = 5' by the end of the summer

Just found you can’t order Boston’s in a 1.75 diameter, so will go for VacuTech!
