Glans girth much greater than base girth. What size tube?

Glans girth: 5.1”
Base girth: 4.5
Low-Mid-Upper Shaft girth 4.0”

I recently purchased an elliptical tube from Vacu-Tech with the following dimensions:1.25” X 1.75” X 9”

I find that my glans is filling the tube, but my shaft is woefully not. If the glans is filling the tube in all directions, does that hinder negative pressure along the shaft? I purchased the tube using the size recommendations on Vacu-Tech’s website which is determined by base girth. I never took into consideration that the head of my penis is much larger than the shaft or base. After I pump 3 x 10-15min at 5in Hg I get very little or no expansion on the shaft, but my glans is expanded and I feel a good tug on my base. I’m wondering if I’m not getting any shaft expansion because my tunica is too tough?

So here are my questions:

What size tube would you recommend with my dimensions?

If the glans fills the tube, but not the rest of the penis, does its position in the tube impede negative pressure?

Does my lack of shaft expansion come from a tough tunica or is it too early (pumping for 2 weeks- 5 days/week) to get expansion?

Bonus question: Does vacuum pumping expand the tunica?

Thank you,
Siva Lingam

I love the way you put it: “Bonus question,” as if we were all swooning for another. That’s creative.

Answer: yes.

I’d suggest that the 1.75 tube you have will work for your glans unless it is so packed up there that vacuum is not reaching the lower shaft. If you get a good erection under vacuum, then things are working. Stick with it, even though you may be getting a little smooshed at the head.

What do you other pumpers think?

I think the exact same thing. Unless your head is packing 360 degrees around and blocking off all vacuum, then you are still OK with that tube.

Bonus question: Yes, absolutely. If you are not experiencing tunica expansion, then extend your pumping time until you reach 30 minutes total. Don’t increase pressure, just increase time.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Oooops… I just see 30 minutes “total” I assume you mean 2 X 15min or 3 X 10min.

I just finished 1 X 30min @ 4-5 in Hg… Worked out pretty good. I got about 0.25 in expansion in girth. No side effects. Used lots of heat before and during (rice sock).

Thanks for the tip.

I have found, in my limited time pumping, that my head is entirely smashed against the sides of the tube. I have one of kaplans 2” tapered tubes that came with the “kit”. While my base and shaft girth is 5”, smaller than is suggested for a 2” tube, my head is probably 5.5-5.75” which solidly blocks the pressure. My solution: I take one of those coffee stirrers (the little red or black hard plastic straws) and position it in the tube so that it “bridges the gap” and allows the vacuum to reach the lower stretches of my penis. I should note however, that if you use a regular drinking straw, which is not as thick, it will just get crushed by your head. That being said, not much air needs to get through to achieve a vacuum, so it may still do the trick. Just my two cents.

Not necessarily.

If his glans is big enough to pack the cylinder all the way around, then the vacuum will be contained between his glans and the top of the cylinder. The rest will not be under pressure.

IF his glans is big enough to form a seal all the way around that is. Hopefully and quite probably the frenulum(?) would create a gap that would allow a vacuum to form.

Edit:didn’t see above post, that is a very good idea.

This was happening to me on a 1.75” tube packing the head but the rest was not really doing much. I moved onto a 2” tube and now have some trouble with scrotum getting into the tube. I am 5.25” just behind glans 5.125 midshaft and 5” base. I also broke the dam male coupler its cheap plastic the metal on the female coupler stripped it. Anyone have any free couplers?
