Graduating to a bigger Bathmate.

I ordered my X40 on Tuesday, at about 1:30 Pacific time, and it arrived today, Friday Just three days later. Only problem was the tracking number said it wouldn’t be here until tomorrow, so I wasn’t home. Have to go pick it up at the post office tomorrow. Can’t wait.

Whoo-hoo! Got it. There’s gonna be a bit of a learning curve, I can tell. First attempt to use it I was getting a lot of air seepage between the bellows and the comfort sleeve. Ah well, It took me a few weeks to get the Hercules technique perfected. I’m sure this will be a similar deal.

I know you already have experience with the Hercules, but have you tried using the X40 fully submerged in the bath? I’ve been getting the best results vacuum-wise that way.

You call it “graduating”, I’m tempted rather to look for psychological terms to describe it. :)

Seriously, once you’ve maxed out even a basic Hercules-sized model what in the world could make you want to continue with an even bigger one? Who or what are you preparing to have sex with anyway that you need so much penis to do it? :)

I think when you say “Maxed out”, you are likely imagining a penis that completely, or almost completely fills the Hercules. Mine does not, but with an erect girth of five and a half inches, and a post pump girth of six inches, I am getting red rings around the base of my penis. Really bad ones. The X40 gives me more “room to grow”.

I concur. My length was around 6.875” when I decide to invest in one of these pumps, and since the size guidelines recommended the X40 for lengths of 7”+, that’s the one I bought. However, at this point I really think that it’s girth that would have been the limiting factor with the smaller models. Girth-wise, I fill up the X40 quite a bit during a pumping session, occasionally to point of discomfort, since the underside of my penis will expand against the edge of the sleeve.

That may sound like ridiculously huge girth, considering just how big the X40 is, but keep in mind a couple of things: First, as as_si_pe mentioned in another thread, there’s the issue of erection angle. In addition to being a pretty upright man, I also have a classic banana curve. So it’s good for me to have the extra space that the X40 provides.

Second, bear in mind that the important factor for the bore of the cylinder isn’t penis girth pre- or post-pumping; what matters is penis girth during pumping under high vacuum. I may have a fairly malleable tunica (I seem gain girth relatively easily), and when I’m under full vacuum, my girth expands massively. There’s obviously no way to measure it when my penis is in the pump, but there’s clearly very little room inside the thing, even accounting for skewed optics.

^yes. I agree and with my bellows being or at least seeming to be worn out and not providing the resistance they did at first, I went for the bigger size.

I was having serious issues with my Hercules and girth. After a few years using this thing, my base girth is noticeably bigger. Over the last few months particularly, I noticed that it was detrimental to normal use. I found that if I went into the tube less than at least 3/4 erect, the base girth felt “grabbed” by the bellows. This caused a strange stretched feeling on the rest of my shaft under vacuum. Not a good stretch, mind you, but a moderately painful stretch. It was causing red spots and pain that I haven’t experienced since my first weeks of use. The solution I’ve found is to spread some Albolene on the base of the Bathmate before filling it with hot water. All it takes is two pumps and the Bathmate feels as good as it used to and I feel like it is effective for me again.

This is a trick I wish I’d found a long time ago. For any of you having girth issues with your Hercules/X30 this is worth a shot. Your mileage may vary.

No need for tubes and sleeves or any complicated stuff to get more vacuum with a bathmate. Just buy this wine pump, it slips right over the top of the entire valve. Just press down firmly to get a seal and pull the handle to suck out a little more water.

Looks like a good way to get yourself injured. The bellows of the Bathmate are self limiting for a reason.

X40 seem to be the one for my size, I’m hesitate with the Goliath, I don’t wont to pay again for this small piece of plastic :/ I still have place in the Hecule but not a lot! I just restart Pe last week and I’m doing split set of 4x5minutes Bm + 4x5minutes wet jelq..2on 1 off (4days/week)

Yeah, that sounds right. If you’re much over, or even spot on 5.5” unpumped erect girth, I would go with the X40. There’s just not a lot of room to grow in the Hercules or X30. The X40 looks like it will accommodate up to 9” in length, and close to 7” in girth. I can’t imagine ever outgrowing mine.

I bit the bullet with the X40 xtreme. They sent the X30 by accident (UK) and I let them know so they sent me the X40 minus the bellows so I have both. I much prefer the X40 even though I’m WAY off packing the X30 in either dimension. The pressure is immense so care is needed but I find I get a better seal and less discomfort with the X40 bellows. Plenty of room for growth… :-)

Wow, that’s a trip, I could use my Hercules even sitting at the computer, or walking around the house, provided I didn’t have to do anything very strenuous. With the X40, I have to lie on my back in the tub, or I get lots of air leaking in.

My X40 is on the way!! I have buy it on Ebay for 160$ Ca. Shipping include…hope it’s an autenthic one! But when I search for Bathmate on Aliexpress there is no X40 or Goliath, only Hercule conterfeit!!
